My family is very pleased we chose Meadowood. What matters the most to our family is that we can trust the people who provide the care to our mom. We know that caregiving is hard and every day is not a perfect day. If you have people who genuinely care then you will trust that no matter what the day brings they are giving their very best. The caregivers here are honest, kind, caring, and seem to love their job. The management here is very on point. When a facility is always clean, the grounds well manicured, caregivers are available, and the environment just “feels good” then you know this is a facility that is well managed. There also is a receptionist available until 8 p.m. every day of the week. This is very helpful since we visit around 6:30p.m. most days. It’s just an added comfort to have someone greet you at the door even in the evening hours. We are grateful for this facility and all the people that work here. Our mom is very happy, safe, and well cared for. We a very pleased and would recommend this facility time and time again.

They hardly have activities for the residents, they will have them on the calendar and then the activities coordinator doesn't even show up to do activities. Has happened multiple times here, the receptionist is not friendly and has one of those underlying "I hate people" attitudes. Picks and chooses who she says hello and goodbye to. They are short staffed constantly. As much money as these people pay there should be a lot more quality care and activities for these residents.

The facility has major management issues, having lost the majority of quality care givers and the Exec Director (position vacant for some time) since i moved a family member in 5 months ago. Residents in the Memory Care unit get less attention and very few, if any, of the activities that are offered to Assisted Living residents, even though the $6,000 monthly rate for the so-called "memory care activities" is to cover this extra care. The folks in memory care who can't advocate for themselves get the "left overs" in terms of care. Residents don't get regular help with hygiene and the basic services an individual needs are neglected. until management can turn this sad situation around, I do not recommend this facility for any one looking for a supportive place for a loved one.

Do not put your loved one in this facility.
There are too many problems to list, memory Care you have to practically live with them to make sure they get the daily living care expected. No activities for memory Care, for all the money these people pay no activities is outrageous.

Meadowood was the nicest community I went to. It was really new, the cafeteria was really nice, and the people were really happy and friendly there. If our budget wasn't a problem, that was where I would put my dad. The guests over there said they liked the food more than in any other places they've been, and I didn't even ask them.

Meadowood was very expensive but very nice, professional, and everybody was accommodating when I came in. When I showed up unannounced and asked to speak with the director, however, they were very pushy about making sure that they had an appointment.

Meadowood is newer and very nice, and the rooms were very nice and adequate size. The dining area was very nice; we've seen the menu, and it was very good. The people were very pleasant and very friendly. They have cooking lessons, games, and church services, and they have a separate Alzheimer's facility.

Meadowood was very nice and attractive. I walked in unexpectedly, and they were very open. They were very kind and showed me the facility. I liked it very much, but it just wasn’t for my sister. It’s a secure environment. The staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. It was very lovely, but the layout is not what my sister needed.

My mother went to Meadowood Assisted Living. It was a nice place. She walked a lot and knew the owners of the winery across the street, so she spent a lot of time there. She took part in the bingo games, and when they had performances, she participated. She may have gone down once or twice and sang for the people in the memory center.
