My father is pretty happy at Heartis Mid Cities. He's in the assisted living part, so he needs care 24/7. They have different sections of this facility. It's pretty new, so it's very nice and updated. For the most part, he gets all this care. He does his physical therapy there and exercises, and he socializes. I think that they're doing pretty well. I know they have some staffing issues several months back. For the most part, since he's lived there, we haven't had any restrictions on going in and out. He lives in kind of an efficiency, almost like a little studio apartment that just has a little kitchenette, a living room, and a bedroom, but it's all one big open space and it has a really big bathroom. It's very nice. It has a nice outdoor space. We've been pretty happy. My mom has never had any issues with anything there. They have a game room, an exercise room, and a family room and we've been there before. We brought in food and we all just sat down at one of the tables. We sat outside before the table was all set, so they have some common areas. They have organized Bible studies. Somebody comes in on Sundays and does a church service. There's a lot of socialization. They all eat down in the eating area. They have puzzles and games and plenty of activities scheduled all day long. I don't know how much my dad does, but I'm pretty sure that you could stay pretty busy there most days because of the stuff that they have on the schedule. It's expensive and he's on a high level of care. My mom pays a lot of money for him to stay there every month, but it is a very nice place.

MY MOTHER LIVES HERE AT HEARTIS. Since she has moved in we have had nothing but problems. Her call button does not get answered. She does not get showers when she is scheduled for them.I could go on and on they are simply UNDER STAFFED.....
