MEMORY CARE
Our Memory Care and Alzheimer’s Care Program offers the tools necessary to engage the mind and stimulate the senses. We create environments that nurture the spirit and nourish the soul. Our dedicated staff is available to assist in every way in providing safe and secure spaces for your loved one.
Within our Memory Care and Alzheimer’s Care Neighborhoods, we offer private suites and companion suites. Also, Life skill stations (activity station designed to elicit memories and engage interest) are provided.

At Dancing River Assisted Living and Memory care, we offer the services to enhance and simplify life. From our personalized care and attention to those things that lend ease and convenience to everyday living, our staff is available to help. I recently did a tour of this facility and really love how clean and inviting it was. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and management answered all of my questions completely.

The facility is beautiful and the remaining caregivers are wonderful. However, the staff is overworked and understaffed. The residents are the ones who pay the price! Dancing River was a great place until new management took over the later half of 2021. Most of the staff, who have worked there for a long time are quitting and the residents are moving out. 5 years ago I would have highly recommended Dancing River, but unfortunately, everything has changed.

Reviews listed on here are outdated. Used to be a nice community but has had trouble keeping it staffed from admin to caregivers. Now medicine errors are being made & best employees are walking out. Ask a lot of questions before moving your loved one in, we just pulled ours out!

We chose Dancing River for my mother, because of the appearance and presentation of the place. It was very clean, neatly kept, it had a nice garen or area where the residents could go out, and the upkeep was nice. The eating areas were nice, too.

My mother is in Dancing River. It's good so far. The staff is very helpful, friendly and very thoughtful. Her room is nice and bigger than what she was in before. Overall, it's an improvement compared to where she was at. The facility seemed kept up well, and the dining facilities and the food seemed good. I haven't had any negative experiences at this point.

My father-in-law has moved into Dancing River. We chose it because their facilities were complete, and they offered all the amenities that we needed for my father-in-law.
The place is clean, and the halls are wide. They allow my father-in-law to have his scooter. The apartments are decent size. It is reasonably priced. The very first day we went down there, we ate. They couldn't have been nicer because out of the blue, without being prompted, the other employees stopped and told us what a wonderful place it was for them and how much they like the residents, and you can tell that they like their jobs. When someone likes their job, it means that they're being treated well.

I thought Dancing River was a very great place. It had a lot of features that I would be looking for. I think the place is attractive. I was surprised that even the studios were arranged well. I had lunch there, and I thought the food was well made which was important to me. I thought that the staff was pleasant. I thought the people in the dining room were outstanding in their friendliness. I thought the lady who showed us around knew her material.

Dancing River was really very nice. It was well-kept and beautifully decorated. The people there were very nice. I just kind of felt like it was a little more expensive than other facilities I'd seen. It was bigger, and it would have been a little harder for my mom to get around. They had this really neat little area where there was an ice cream shop. The residents could sit at tables and have ice cream sundaes and cookies while socializing. The rooms were beautiful. It was a very nice facility all around.

Dancing River was a very nice and clean establishment with different levels of care in the community. I liked the memory care, and there was a good number of caregivers to patients.

Dancing River was very nice, clean, and had pretty grounds. The one thing we were concerned about was that it did not have a nurse on staff. Some places have 24-hour nursing, and this place didn't. However, they are building a facility right next to them that is going to be a medical facility. They were very helpful. It looked very pretty inside, and I liked the courtyards because my mother-in-law is very into flowers. The rooms and dining room were nice. I thought she would really enjoy walking around the grounds.

I placed my mother in Dancing River one of the places you recommended. I like the appointments. The place is very nice and very well kept. The room that my mother is in is very nice and very well kept. They have a very good staff that takes good care of her. She likes the food. That is very important. They do shopping trips and things like that, but I am not sure if she has taken that because she has been there only for a short time, and the weather here is so hot that she does not really go out into the courtyard area yet. I think that she will be taking advantage of that very soon. She makes quite a few friends, and she is really happy with that. She is also happy with the hairdresser that comes in and does her hair. She is happier now than in her own house living alone. She has made improvements both physically and mentally since she lives there because of the socialization aspect, and because of the physical nature of having to walk for her room to the dining room every day, several times a day.
I love it! The management there is great. They are so easy to work with, and so helpful to me and my mother. The medical staff is great. They contact me if they need any kind of medication or running low. The communication is fantastic between me and Dancing River. The nurses are great. I cannot say enough good things about it.

I thought Dancing River was an excellent facility. It was elegant, they seemed to have very good staff, and everything provided that could be needed.

My dad thought Dancing River was a little too institutionalized, but it was beautiful. It was pretty big, and the staff was extremely nice. We took a tour, and the young lady who gave that to us was very nice. It was just a little more than he could afford though.

I'm at Dancing River. My room is OK. They have excellent food and nice pleasant dining area. Sanitation is very good. Entertainment is OK, and support is good.

The rooms were smaller at Dancing River Assisted Living. My parents' room didn't give them a lot of privacy. The staff was very good and very helpful. They have about the same types of activities as other facilities, like bingo, outings, exercise mornings, theater nights, and movie nights. Food was probably about the same, too. One day you'll have frozen fish steak, and the next day, you may have roast beef. However, what I liked best about this one was that it was a smaller community, so they had a better staff-resident ratio.

I like Dancing River, but it was too much, and it was too far away. Beautiful place, but they're probably 30% more in price. I didn't try the food, but I walked through while they were eating, and I didn't hear anybody complaining. They looked like they were enjoying it. The staff was very friendly.
When we moved in, the bedroom had a carpet in it, and the other room had a type of a vinyl floor. We liked it so much we asked them to take out the carpet and put in the vinyl floor that looked like wood. It's a lot better for my mom using her wheelchair. Anything and everything we asked them, they did.

My mom is actually at Dancing River. She has been there for three months now. I chose this facility because it's close to me and it's very nice. I was really impressed with the staff. They're really nice. I also chose them for the quality of the care, the helpers, and the caregivers. I'm just really happy with this facility. My mom is happy there as well and that's what's more important. They have beautiful apartments and a beautiful courtyard. I think their rooms are a little bit bigger than those from the other facility. However, they don't have an exercise room or a crafts room for their residents. The food is pretty good. They did a Christmas thing for the residents and their families and the food was equivalent to like what is served in a first-class hotel. I was amazed how well the food was. It was really good. The staff that they have there is really nice. As far as the caregivers, they do have the required ratio. However, sometimes they just don't have enough help.

We're all set. We found Dancing River for my mother. She moved in there the beginning of December. We chose this facility because they have a memory care unit as well in case we need it. We also chose it because of its proximity to my home and activities they offer there, the nursing staff, and so forth. There are one or two registered nurses on everyday and then on weekends, they have an on-call nurse. So far, care is very good. Food also is very good. I've eaten there several times. For amenities, they have a library with a pool table in it. They have activity room and TV room. They have a little place where they do puzzles. They have a wonderful activity coordinator. They've been bringing a lot of people in and there's lot of special things for the holiday.
