My mom moved into The Rose at Round Rock. It seemed to be a good value for the money. They seemed to spend the money in the right places. So, some of them were very luxurious. I kind of got the impression that they were spending more on sort of the accouterments of the facilities, and the care of those people. The staff members were attentive and doing a good job. I know they've got a list of things for activities. They do provide laundry service as part of the package. They have a microwave, a refrigerator, and a small sink in their room. For an assisted living place, I would say it's pretty good. They have a couple of open spaces outdoors, a library, an in-house rehab, a theater, and a dining room.

I went to The Rose at Round Rock yesterday. It's a little farther than I want to travel because I visit my mother at least three or four times a week. It is outdated, but they said they were redoing the carpet. They said they had work that they were beginning to do. It was clean. It was very, very clean, and upkeep was good on the inside and the outside. The grounds were nice. The staff was very informative, she was very professional and very nice. She was very good. She took me on both the assisted living and memory care tours, gave me pamphlets, and explained a lot of both sides. It's just a thorough tour. She showed me an activities calendar that the residents do.

My mother-in-law has only been in The Rose at Round Rock for a little bit now. She moved in with a cold, and so she hasn't felt good since she's been there. I think it'll be nice, and I'm hoping she'll make some friends. One time when we were there, a pianist was entertaining them, but they also do play bingo. She doesn't have a full kitchen in her room, but she got a microwave and a fridge, and it was spacious enough. The facilities are a little nicer too than the other ones.

My dad is in The Rose at Round Rock. We can't go in there but he's taken care of. The staff members are communicating clearly what is going on and what they plan to change. He seems to be happy there and he's not complaining about anything. They do not allow outside visitors unless they're authorized or from hospice care.

I'm going to put my parents here; it's a beautiful community with the best services. It's right behind a major hospital, so if you needed to take someone to the emergency room, it's there. They have a full concierge service. The rooms in assisted living are bigger than usual, but smaller than usual in memory care, but just lovely. The food is great. I love it. My parents are moving on the 15th of May.

The lady who toured us was very nice and available right away. She was excellent and related very well with my mom, so that was very nice. She took my mom's name into consideration. The facility was nice and clean, and we were introduced to the staff and some of the residents.

We are quite happy with this community, which had both memory care and senior care. They did not have any vacancies at the time we were there. It was one of our top choices and would have gone there had they had an opening. The staff was very good and very attentive. They had bingo, a reading room, and quite a lot of activities to offer.

We really thought it was great, but it was too far from where we live. It made a very great impact on us. They have private apartments and graduated care, so someone with dementia could be in there and need care, but have privacy and be in a place where they could get the care they needed. They made a very positive impression. They impressed us with the amount of socialization that goes on. It seemed like a very good place, but it was too far away.

This community is the nicest and friendliest. The staff is very nice, and very helpful. My parents-in-law have an apartment. I know they've got a gardening club, and a veteran's group, and that they have trips to the grocery store, but not a field trip kind of thing.

They were very accommodating about reserving a place for us for a little bit longer a time than they normally do. The whole facility is really nice. The sanitation is excellent. My mom is extremely happy there. What I like best about it is the décor, the newness of it, and the staff. The staff is incredibly friendly. They are all very welcoming. The dining area looks great. Mom loves the food there. That has been huge for us because she is a very picky eater. Her room is very nice. The layout is nice. It is very spacious. It even has a view.

The people were very nice and the care was exceptional. It's not too far from us, it's a brand new facility and it just opened in January. They offer plenty of activities for the residents including exercise classes, beauty shops, barbershops, a nice library and and a theatre. They also have a spa and a walk-in whirlpool. They have a lot of amenities. The rooms are a little small. They had some architecture problems that they're working out but overall it's comfortable.
