We placed my mother in Poet's Walk Round Rock. The care is fantastic, they work with her every day and it's great that she's acclimated very well. The staff is very helpful, and very knowledgeable, and they have been great to work with. They communicate with me regularly, and they're wonderful. She says the food's really good, I've not eaten there, but she has no complaints. There's been a couple of meals that she hasn't liked, but then they've made her something else. They're doing puzzles, games, exercises, and arts and crafts. The facility is beautiful and her room is a perfect size. It's just a studio but there's plenty of room to get her furniture in there.

I went to the Poet's Walk Round Rock yesterday. I was very impressed. It's very clean, it's fairly new, so it's very modern. The person that took me on the tour was very informative, very nice, and I think I stayed there a couple of hours. She explained a lot. I've seen the residents doing their activities, I met the nurses and I met other staff. She introduced me to the different staff. It was a very, very good tour. They offer memory care, so they do a lot of activities for high-level residents with dementia down to the low level, so they offer a wide range and I've seen some of the residents participating. Some were able to participate and then the other ones were just kind of watching on. They were able to watch on and at least be involved and be in the midst of the activities, instead of just being left in their room. That's why I'm moving my mother now because she's not as involved.

Poet's Walk Round Rock was lovely, new, and it's built on one floor. They had lovely rooms, motion detectors, a courtyard, and patients can opt to eat in two different dining locations. They had a big cage with birds in it for the patients to look at. The admissions person was the nicest lady. They had music, a hairdresser, and an interior courtyard that they can go outside on their own whenever they want.
