My parents have moved into Grand Living at Georgetown. The place is what it's called, it's grand. It's not like a retirement home; it's more like adult living. It's beautiful. Everybody is very welcoming and very, very nice. All the residents just welcome each other. My parents have a beautiful apartment there. There are lots of amenities. It's a happy place to be, so we're pleased. Every floor has its RN and nursing staff that is manned 24 hours if needed. They have a wonderful chef and wonderful food. It couldn't be better.
My parents have their own two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and two baths. There are several different layouts of what you could want or need. They have an amazing spa with massages and healing things, and they have a workout facility and I've never seen a better one ever with the latest equipment and TVs and everything ready for the residents. They have a pool, and they offer swimming therapy and aerobics, and chair therapy. They have a beauty salon where they do hair and nails and anything else you could want. They have a beautiful stage theater, and they show movies. They get together and have singalongs and things if anybody wants to participate in that. Every Friday they have a happy hour with live entertainment. The chef is very personable, and they take a list of what my parents like and they cater to that.

Grandliving at Georgetown is our second choice for our mom because of the services they offered. It has independent living and assisted living. We like the facilities and the staff that we met. They were very personable and informative. They have a variety of amenities. They have a pool, fire pit, a fitness room, theater, an athletic director, and three dining rooms with a chef.
