I visited The Edgemere (The Plaza At Edgemere). The positive thing about this facility is that you can move in and stay there until you die. The negative thing is that right now, the majority of the people there are over 80 years old. The surroundings were very nice though.

Caring staff. Great medical care. Very nurturing and friendly. I really appreciated their sincere concern and assistance in smoothing the transition of my parents into the Plaza. I rest easy knowing my mom and dad are safe there. They go the extra mile at The Plaza!

My mother moved into The Plaza at Edgemere Assisted Living because she needed more help due to her Alzheimer's. Everyone was so encouraging, friendly and helpful. She had an apartment for about 6 months and then she broke her hip and is now on the 3rd Floor and we have had the same experience. The nursing staff, sitters and everyone that we see is so kind and capable. The facility is very clean and the food is great. I would encourage anyone looking for care for their loved ones to consider the Edgemere. Having a transitional care facility has been a life saver for our family and my mother is safe and happy.

My mother has been living at the Edgemere Assisted Living facility for almost 3 months now. After visiting many facilities in the area I was happy to have found a place like Edgemere for my mother to call home. The staff is very friendly and prompt. The facility is extremely clean and it is obvious that the residents are well taken care of. My mother always raves about the food and many activities she is involved in. I must admit that I was a little hesitant for my mother to move into a a facility since she has lived on her own since my father passed away but after her recent hip fracture and intensive rehab it was apparent that she needed a little more assistance. My mother and I are very happy with the decision and encourage anyone looking for an assisted living facility in the Dallas area to visit Edgemere.

The staff is amazing! They are so loving and supportive, they really care about him. I feel so confident in the care that he is receiving there, and have never had an issue. He gets his medications on time, they take him to work, to Doctors appointments, on group outings to museums, and special events. He enjoys the entertainers that come in all the time and he wishes he made the decision to move sooner. Could not be happier, the place is not only beautiful but the care is the best!

My mother has lived here for 5 years and I cannot be happier. She enjoys the activities and the meals are fabulous!! I love that there is never any staff turnover, so they really know mom and I can trust them.
