3 executive directors in as many years. Activity schedule has not changed in 10 years. No creativity for engaging residents. My.client had his 70th birthday and there was no March birthday sign on is door and no acknowledgment of his milestone. Very sad. Moving out. This used to be a great place but it is old, worn, and the staff reflects that.

Crystal Creek at Preston Hollow was very friendly. The lobby was very busy, so it didn't give me a real good first impression. I met with Tammy and she was very interested in what my husband needed, as well as how was I doing, and I really liked that. The place was beautiful. Their level of service just didn't quite meet his needs. He needed, I think, more than what they could offer, but if you didn't need special assistance, I think it would be a good place. I didn't really pay attention to the activities too much, and they didn't focus on the activities like the other place did. The other place talked about everything they do, including loading people into the bus and going to Starbucks if they wanted to. The activities at Crystal Creek were not as active. They had a small library.

My brother-in-law was in Crystal Creek at Preston Hollow for skilled nursing and he eventually got into assisted living for a short period of time. Overall, the staff was pretty good. The facility was nice. It's spotless. He had a one-bedroom apartment and it was very spacious. They got outdoor seating and that kind of thing.

Constant Flux in care staff. Always short staffed. Front desk often unattended and phones unanswered. Asst living director position continually changing or left unfilled. Client never attends activities as no one reminds, encourages or prompts when time. No creative programs to meet needs across interests. If client wasn't opposed to change, would move immediately.

Crystal Creek at Preston Hollow is assisted living and memory care only. There's no independent living here. They have skilled nursing rehab as well. We've been here for one year, and we just love it. It's a beautiful setting. They have a living room, a music room, a piano, and a beautiful outdoor patio. There's so much natural light because of all the windows. The food is excellent. The activities are numerous. Some of the people that work here, have been here for 30 years and they all just love it. They've all been very friendly and very helpful to us in assisted living. Everyone here seems to love their job. We've had no negative personalities. They're all very positive and provide exactly the help we need. I would recommend it. They provide three meals a day, housekeeping once a week, and laundry once a week. It is expensive, but I don't think we could stay at home and have the kind of care we have here for the same amount of money.

I was able to tour Crystal Creek At Preston Hollow for my aunt. The staff was very kind, and they were very careful with COVID; I had to wear a gown and gloves. They were delightful about that, and so I appreciated that a lot. The place was nice. I think it was fairly old, but it has been revamped, and it was very comfortable, good, and clean. The person that gave me the tour was the leader of the AL and she listed several things that she does, but then again, they're being careful about getting people together because of COVID, and I appreciate that. The staff was delightful, kind, and good.

My aunt stayed at Crystal Creek upon being discharged from the hospital. She had her own room, which was one positive factor of her stay, but considering the overall amount of negatives, it was not worth her staying there. The dining room is decent, but small. The real issue was the level of care the attending staff gave residents. One staff member was very hateful to my aunt and was reported to management. While there were a couple of nice folks, I personally observed an overall attitude of indifference and apathy of most staff towards the residents. Most came across as aloof and irritable, just there to pass the hours and go home. In short, if you are looking for a decent place for your loved one, I would look elsewhere.

I was impressed with this community. The people are very nice. The rehab facility is excellent. My mom was in rehab, and the facility is very clean. I would most definitely recommend this facility.

It is the fanciest one I’ve been to and toured, ever. It has a lot of ammenities to encourage family visitors. A lot of the common areas are so inviting plus leather sofas and beautiful fresh flower arrangements. It’s a 90% Jewish community there. It is just real nice. There’s a lot of stuff you can do. I think they even take you to the Jewish activity center for meals and parties and in the summer, you can go swimming no matter how old you are. It has a lot of ammenities. I’m sure my niece will come see me. They have game room, mahjong, backgammon and you can check out movies and watch them in a common room like a home theater and they have trips. They have a little van there that they can take people to the malls. They have a cab even where you can pay and go for four hours. The rooms are not standard at all. They’re extra large and they all have large windows and they’re already decorated. This place is set up like a hotel. They have plush décor and the rooms are already made up. What was nice about it is that it’s menu style and that is uncommon. Usually they draw at you what they’re cooking that day and that’s what you get but they have a menu and you can actually even order off hours from the café or a room service. You don’t have to take what the daily fare was and that is very, very nice.

The food was fair. They didn't have many activities for her there. I think they need more activities for Medicare people and better care.

My sister is here for rehabilitation. She has her own room with tables, chairs and everything. She was very sick when she went in but they really worked with her and they had a doctor looking in on her.
