My mother is in Arden Courts of Richardson. We've been pleased with them. They were very nice. She's in memory care. I liked it a lot. The people there have been impressive. They really seem to be on top of things. They're very friendly, and seem to be generally caring. It's good; it's really nice. I think she's comfortable there. They have activities for a couple of hours in the morning, and again in the afternoon. There's lots to do, and she enjoys the activities. Given the situation, it's as good as it can be. They do everything from singalongs to people coming in to visit and speak to them. They do group exercises. They have group activities to the extent they're able to participate, and my mom really enjoyed that stuff. They do have a salon. They have a really nice backyard with a big wall around it. It's very well-kept and very nice. My mom loves to walk out there.

To Arden Court Corporation Where do I begin? My heart was pounding and the panics attacks visited me regularly. It was my Mother, who I have cared for years. Suddenly, I realized she had dementia and my life felt out of control, worrying every hour of every day for her safety. After I came to discover Arden Court, in Westlake, I surely had my guard up, but it appeared to offer more care 24/7 in a homey atmosphere than anywhere else I had researched. Confused and afraid, after making the decision to place her in Arden Court, in spite of all the on going help and support of Reggie and her assistant, in my gut, I was still determined to find a way to bring her back to her home, where I believed she belonged. Then, I was there, I had the arrangements in place, it was set, but it was lacking the help, support and the personality of Arden Court that Reggie, and the whole crew displayed. Even my on going tears were never turned away without a hug or reassurance, helping me to feel like less of an emotional mess. Then, I realized I was sleeping at night, I also realized that the on going care and attention 24/ 7 that my mother was receiving was priceless. Shanna had done wonders with my mother stubborn streak getting her to do the impossible. When my mother would rather ask Shanna, Shelby, or Britney the same question over and over, and trust their answer over mine, I knew that when I am not there, she was in good hands and most important she shows her trust in these girls. Whenever Reggie walks around and visits the resistant’s, my mother responds. My mother is a little pill. But this great staff does wonders for her smile. Even Patricia at the desk always makes me feel like my on going calls to my mother are welcome and is always quick to buzz me in and out before, I even have a chance to reach for the buzzer. I visit 8 to 10 times per month for a few hours each time, and I still cry watching my mothers who is falling fast. But when my mother displays she feels safe and comfy, it is allowing me to begin to get my life back on track somehow. I know in my heart I could not give her that safe feeling of not being afraid and the comfort she displays in her head. My mother, no longer cries out to me, “Patti, please, what do I do, what do I do, when do I eat? Please, please keep calling me.” I know one thing that the Arden court is now her home. The entire staff is amazing from Reggie, Maryann, to Maintenance. Ray, he surely stole my heart on the first day I met him, when he excused himself, to reach out to one resistant who was afraid and lost in the hall. I watched him hold on to her hand and comfort her as he led her back to her house. Amazing, this was the man who would be hanging my mother’s pictures in her room. A WONDERFUL PLACE TO SEND A PATIENT. I have had the pleasure of referring my patients to a wonderful place for Alzheimer's/Dementia Care. Arden Courts Richardson does wonderful Care and their staff is extremely well trained. I love their property and grounds is just exceptional. The nursing staff and key management team have been there for numerous years. That is tough to find in healthcare. Thank you specially to Alice, (nurse), Michael (Director) and Tori (Marketing Director) for all you do. You really exceed expectations.

All the rooms were private at Arden Courts of Richardson. They have four different houses and I thought it seemed like they have good activities for the memory care and they wanted her to be out of the rooms and involved in activities. They also have activities in their little houses. I like the facility a lot, but it was just too far away from me. Based also on their price range, I like them best. I think they offer a better quality care in that price range.

I visited Arden Courts; the lady that showed me around was very nice and friendly. The room they showed me was nicely kept. They had movies and other activities as well. However, I could not afford the price.

Arden Court is a wonderful facility. The care, kindness and compassion shown to the patients is excellent. The facility is extremely clean, well maintained and the staff is always available to assist and answer any questions. I find that the activities the patients participate in are well rounded and well thought out. You do not see patients just sitting doing nothing. I like how everyone is engaged in participation. I would highly recommend this facitility to anyone who needs this type of care.

There are are no words to express what kind, loving care rhe residents at Arden Courts Richardson receive. Our mother has been there since October 2003. She is very happy there and we are so fortunate to have found Arden Courts.
