My mother likes The Monarch at Richardson. The staff seems nice. They're still not able to do any activities, but that's the way it is right now. It's been good. She seems to enjoy the food. They're undergoing a lot of remodeling right now, so things are in disarray. They're not able to do much in groups. They have some small group exercise and a few other things, but there's really not much going on in the way of activities right now.

I toured. It was a nice facility. They were very nice and cordial. I had a nice lunch there. I liked the grounds. The apartments were very doable. The gentleman that showed me around was very nice, very cordial, and very kind. He showed me the entire place, the game room, the pool, and everything else.

My father stayed for a short time because of his medical condition. The staff was friendly and professional. The dining room was amazing with tasty meals. I’ve eaten there twice as a guest and both meals were amazing. They have homemade food, homemade salad dressing to go with your salad, and the dessert had a nice presentation.

I have selected here. I've picked a wonderful spot for my mom. From the executive director all the way to every caregiver, they are loving. They know my mom's name. When I walk in the door, everyone can tell me how my mom is doing. They are as supportive of me as they are to my mom. It is remarkable. The food is outstanding. The chef would come out and greet everyone. He is just as loving as he can be. He has attended to everyone's needs, as far as their food requests. The surroundings are very comfortable and inviting. They are warm and inviting. They have rocking chairs, and it is like coming into your home.

I don't have any complaints about the staff. All of them were very helpful. They gave us the information we needed to know at that time. The only issue is that this kind of assisted living won't work for my mom. But they tried to help us, and they even gave us information about other places. However since we finally found somebody to stay with my mother, we didn't continue with the search.

It seemed to be a very upbeat facility. When I visited the facility, everybody knew the name of every resident. They all seemed friendly and nice. They were updating their security system. I am a big animal lover and the way it was laid out, there was like a courtyard and I also saw that there was a doggy door. They also have an eating area and a living area.
