Mom was at Belmont Village Turtle Creek for a month. The staff were friendly, but not very responsive, because it was oriented towards people with less disability than she had. She stayed in a suite and had a living room and a bedroom. It was very nice, but the TV system was so complicated that she could not get it to work. She had to have somebody come in every time she turned it on. The bed was too high when we moved in (she was in a wheelchair). They said they were going to change it out with a hospital bed, but they didn't do that for a while until she finally fell out of it. Then the next day they got her a hospital bed in there that she could get into. The food was good. The dining area was more formal and it was just not her style. They had a good bit of activities. They had bingo, jigsaw puzzles, live music a couple of times a week, and an exercise class that she went to.

Belmont Village Turtle Creek is more like luxury apartments with extra amenities and services than kind of a medical facility. The traditional assisted living is fine, but they kind of stepped it up, and it's very home like and very catered to the needs of the client. The rooms were very spacious, very bright, with lots of windows. They had a lot of options for the type of floor plan. They really had an eye to individualized service, from what I've seen. This was just the initial tour, but there was a lot of activity in the hallway in a good way. Clients were out. In a couple of the places I've gone to, there's nobody in the halls, the lights were off, and it's kind of dark, but this place was vibrant and active. Not just listening to what the tour person, Vivian, was talking about, but like observing what was actually happening with the clients. It's going to be such a perfect place for my husband, who thrives on the social, but just can't get around as easily. They had an extensive menu and my husband has a specialized diet. He's pescatarian, so he only eats fish and vegetables, and they had a lot of selection for him. They have a meat and a fish and a pasta every day. It looks like chef-inspired meals. I got that from the menu. I didn't actually eat the food. The staff was very good. I met everybody. I met nurses and caregivers and a janitor lady. Everybody was friendly and just seemed comfortable there. It's a beautiful facility. It is very expensive, but really quality care. I think this is going to be it for us. They had a chapel, a movie theater, and a pool. They had everything.

My experience has been excellent. I've been here for one year and three months. Everybody has been cooperative and helpful. I've recommended a couple of people to come in and I'll keep doing that. The permanent and rotating menus are very good. The chef gets the fish from Veracruz and he know's what he's doing. The desserts are super. The entertainment is good -- they have a great happy hour. They don't discriminate. They like everybody

I liked Belmont Village a lot, and I had a great first impression. Everything about them is great. The rooms were about like most but bigger. It's the most expensive and the highest quality of the ones we've looked at. My mom has eaten there twice, and she loved it. The location is in an elite part of town. There were a lot of people in the common areas, and I saw a lot of people at dinner; they were having some kind of community meeting while I was there.

My mom is in Belmont. It’s a very good assisted living place. It’s very impressive, and super clean. It has very friendly staff, and a lovely physical facility.

Belmont Village was wonderful. It was my favorite one out of the places we visited. It’s a very warm and caring place. They offer assisted living and memory care. They had 1 and 2-bedroom apartments. For people who have mild dementia, they can just stay in their apartments as there were just people who come for their needs. They had many programs, and they take you to any grocery store that you want, anytime you want. They will take you to any doctor that you want. There is a hospital that is very close by. They have a nursing staff 24 hours 7 days a week, at least one. They have two meals and a snack free; if you want three, you can get three, and that is what I like it best.

Belmont Village was so expensive, and they wouldn't allow me to bring my dog. They said it was too big. They bought me lunch, picked me up, took me there, and I went through a meeting with several officers. It was a great facility, but it was just that I could not bring my dog.

We've been here at Belmont Village Turtle Creek since November and it's a brand new facility. It's a seven story building. It has beautiful-appointed furnishings. The surroundings are just gorgeous. They really took time and effort to make it an elegant place to live. Our apartment is very roomy and we have two bedroom and two bath. We also have a little balcony that we can get out. It has a nice swimming pool and exercise room with several exercise machines. The only main concern I have is, because it a brand new facility, they have great turnover with regards to their staff.
