The Bridges at Edinburg Assisted Living Homes is a great facility. The reason why it didn't work for me is because it's not a lock-down facility, and there's a chance my husband could wander off. I'm impressed with the staff. It's a very nice facility with a very warm staff. I saw some people playing a board game, and the dining area was very nice. I saw a living room, and that's where they do music therapy. The rooms were very clean, very nice, and a good size.

My mother came to live at the Bridges in 2016 after recuperating from a fall and surgery. The day we drove onto the property there was a band playing in the lovely yard and all the residents were enjoying the music and some even dancing. What a welcoming sight. Over the years we have become friends with residents and staff alike. The property itself sold us to begin with - so NOT institutional - but the care of the staff, the activities and field trips, the beauty shop, the chickens and rabbits, the very special dinners on special holidays and the ability to make your spacious room your own, all have made the Bridges a home for our mother. Her recent hospital stay caused so much stress and all we could think about was getting her 'home'. Our family is very happy to we found this option for our very special mom. Thank you Alejandra and staff.

I love The Bridges at Edinburg. It was a very nice place. They showed me a place outside where they can sit and where they have activities. The lady that gave me the tour, and the people that I met were very nice. They were very informative and very friendly. The place was very clean and very well kept. Everything was very organized.

My mother-in-law has been at The Bridges at Edinburg for two months. It's wonderful, very homey, quiet, and very much like home. The rooms are large and have a very fresh, bright, and cheerful community dining room. They have two sides, one for people who are a little more mobile and more alert and the other end is for people who need a little bit more care and with memory problems. The food is wonderful, and the cooks are very attentive to the people's taste. The care is incredible, and they have beautiful grounds that the residents can enjoy.

My tour of The Bridges at Edinburg Assisted Living Homes was a very good one. The guide was very friendly. They explained how the place operates. It was much smaller in size, with only 16 residents. While I was there, they were taking a group of residents out to a restaurant to eat. They had a small beauty shop. I saw a single bedroom that has a bathroom.

The Bridges at Edinburg was set-up as a very homey environment. It made you feel at home. However, it did not have a lockdown type situation and Mother wanders, so that was not a good fit for her. I saw a glimpsed of a couple residents that were having interactions with the attendants there. They seemed very happy and were having a conversation. I saw the dining area. It was very comparable to a home dining area.

Bridges Edinburg was great, but it was just a little bit out of the way. The rooms were adequate, nice, and well-cared for, but a tad bit small. They just hired a recreation specialist. My wife is 20 years younger than everyone, and it is difficult for her. The care is great; they take very good care of her, they're very aware of what's going on with her, and they keep me posted.

The Bridges was a one-story place and quite a bit older. It and the personnel seemed really nice. They weren't really fancy, and the rooms were functional. They had all the amenities, and it looked like they're in really good shape. The dining room was more of restaurant-style, the tables can seat 4, and you can sit anywhere you want. They serve tea or orange juice, and the menu usually has two entrees at noon.

When I arrived, I immediately had an idea of what the inside of the building could look like, simply by judging the scenery outside. The area was handled neatly, considering that the grass looked nicely trimmed, and there was absolutely zero litter to be seen of any kind on the premises. The inside of the building was just as clean, and I felt whole heartily welcomed by the faculty near the door. The inside of the building was well furnished and clean. I'm usually not accustomed to places like these, and I couldn't help but be feel flattered by the friendly greetings I was met with at every corner. The welcomes were just as friendly as their goodbyes, and I hoped my friend would invite me again.
