I went to Hickory Manor Senior Apartments and it is like individual homes. The thing that caught my eye the most was the cleanliness. The grass was cut, the maintenance outside was wonderful, and it was clean. They had a beauty salon and a little list when you come in for you to put your name and the time when you want to come to the beauty salon. They got a swimming pool. There are not too many activities right now because of the Covid, but the staff said they are gonna start doing some of the activities pretty soon. The people in the office seemed very friendly. There is just something about the vibe there. I talked to them on the phone and I said I just wanted to introduce myself so they could meet me. Then the staff gave me some literature. They just do not have enough leeway moneywise. You have to pay for the parking space or car port. The place was beautiful, immaculate, and clean.

My mom has been in Hickory Manor Senior Apartments for a couple of years now, and she loves it. The staff is great. They don't provide food there. They give food away, fresh food, dry, and canned food, but they don't prepare any food there. They have a lot of activities, but I don't know how frequent. When she first got there, they'd have parties and different things in the clubhouse. She liked it for that. They have individual townhomes, and there are 1 and 2-bedrooms with individual doors. I think it's a good value for the money. It's lower than what you can get for a 2-bedroom in that city.

I toured Hickory Manor. It's a bit hard to get to. The amenities were comparable, and the pool is far from the apartment complex, but the rooms were big and nice.

Hickory Manor Senior Apartments was picturesque. The staff was very nice, very knowledgeable, and told me they had lots of activities. They had a recreational hall and a swimming pool.

Hickory Manor apartments is perfect for me. There’s a washer and dryer in the apartment. It has a separate bedroom and a walk-in closet. They’ve got an activity room, and they have the standard Bingo and dominos. They’ve got a pool and have exercise classes like water aerobics. It’s close to my son. Everyone has been very sweet and pleasant with me. The staff is real nice. They have a 24/7 nurse and a doctor that’s very close, and they service the apartments.
