Our tour at A Daughter's Care Cedarbrook House was pretty positive. We liked that place pretty well. It seemed to be very clean and the lady that toured with us was very nice, knowledgeable, and seemed to have all her ducks in a row. She explained everything to us. Their rooms were nice, it was like a group home, so it was smaller than the other place we toured. The rooms seemed to be fine, there wasn't anything I would complain about. They weren't as nice as the other one, but they would probably be my second choice. I was looking at their schedule of activities, they don't have as many, it looked like they just did one per week. Their residents, it looked like they were more for memory care, because of the lack of activities. Their activities seem to be only like for an hour a day or so. It seemed as though the residents were fairly happy for the period of time that we were there. It's just a different type of facility, but it was nice enough.

A Daughter's Care was very nice. They offer everything that they advertise as far as medication management, assistance with ADL, food prep, and all of those things. Because of COVID, the tour was limited. I walked around, but, of course, I wasn't interacting much with the residents. I was able to tour a room that was empty but the other rooms were occupied, so I didn't go in. The layout was very nice.

A Daughter's Care - Cedarbrook House is a wonderful facility. The owner or the head administrator, Ms. Davis, was very caring and she did us a walkthrough and took that kind of time out to explain the amenities and all of the scenarios that take place within. She was just very helpful and warm. Everything was clean and the caregivers wore uniforms. Each room had its own personal touch. They also gave the family members the opportunity to come and hang out with their loved ones at any and all given time. For me, it was a great setting for the elderly and not able to care for themselves. I would recommend it to anyone. They would puree food for the residents if there's an eating problem. It was also explained that there are medical institutes that come to the facility to do checks on residents who needs care. They can also get emergency care immediately.
