When it got to a point when we could no longer keep up with Mee Maw's needs... we were so blessed to find Knight Assisted Life. Mom was welcomed into a loving Christian environment. Her room and the facility was always clean. The care was specific to her needs be it if she was hungry, they would ask.. what can I make for you, if she couldn't swallow her pills, they would grind them up and put them in applesauce. All her needs were looked after with loving care. She was always happy when we would visit. Everyone made her and us feel like family and we were always welcome anytime.
The low number of residents to caregiver is something we did not see anywhere else that we looked and is key to the quality care we found there.

Having visited countless senior care homes in the North Texas area as a Chaplin and minister, I would say, without doubt, that Knights Assisinig Life is the finest elder care home I have ever visited! It has the perfect combination of outstanding eminities coupled with a well trained and courtious staff that bring a "certain comfort" in knowing your loved ones are being cared for by the best. Having over 30 years of experience in working with families that are faced with the tough decision of who will care for my family, like family? Knights Assisting Life stands head and shoulders above the rest!

My mother was blessed to be not only Knight's Assisting Life first resident when they opened their care home in Hickory Creek, TX but was able to spend the last two years of her life with the quality care and love from KAL. Having an intimate facility with an unbelievably low patient to caretaker ratio was a big plus for our family as we knew that in most elder care/memory facilities she would have just been another number; another bed. Here she was a person - cared for and loved each day. Needing to put a loved one in a care home isn't easy but this was the best decision we could have made for my mother and we definitely recommend KAL.
