I went to see Holiday Pinewood Hills. Overall, it was nice, clean, and modern. The people were quite friendly and warm. But the rooms were really small. I looked at the menu and I was not impressed with it. The overall condition of the place was nice and adequate. I was not impressed with the exercise room, it was really small. The activity room was nice with different things to do. The people there said it was a nice place and they liked it, but it's not my style. I liked the fact they had balconies with nice views of the surrounding trees. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable.

The care that Holiday Pinewood Hills gave to my mom, the facilities, the food, the activities, and everything is amazing. There's a salon there so my mom gets her hair and nails done. Shauna runs the salon. She is one of the most lovely humans ever. She's very caring. If my mom's not there for an appointment, she always seeks her out. Over the year and a half, she has become someone that I very much appreciate and kind of consider family at this point. If there's anything suspicious like when my mom wasn't feeling well, she's quick to give me a text message to let me know.
The management team is great any time I have a concern or anything. They've always been very helpful. All of the four caregivers that mom has had, have been super helpful and very caring. They keep my mom well cared for/groomed and make sure she's eating. If there's any change in her demeanor, Krystal will give me a call. They make sure she gets her pills in the morning and at night and I can't imagine entrusting anyone more than that team. Even the people who served them the food knew everybody's name. They knew what my mom likes already. They're just very good people. Even Barry, who does the maintenance around there, any time I've gone to visit and needed help with a tool, he's just kind.
The dining room is great. I've eaten there several times with mom and I think the food's really good. It's very good quality. It's always warm. There are always plenty of options. Even if it's not part of what's on the menu, there are always things that they would make if my mom doesn't like something. They pay attention. They know little things like who likes decaf and who doesn't, or how mom likes her eggs.

What I liked the most about Holiday Pinewood Hills was that everything was in-house, from the theater room and game room, right down to the barbershop. They also went out of their way to purchase a poker table for a resident who had always played it and it was a nice poker table, not just something out of Goodwill. They care about their residents. They had choices for lunch, just like being in a restaurant. It's clean and it smelled nice. There wasn't anything I didn't like about it.

I really like Holiday Pinewood Hills. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to talk with me about things that I wanted to find out about, and what I could do there. They had exercise equipment and activities to do. They have quite a few veterans there.

Holiday Pinewood Hills was very updated. The lady showed me the mailboxes and took me to a small apartment, which was 500 plus square feet. It seemed too large because there was no kitchen, only a small kitchenette, and it had a nice bathroom, a walk-in shower, and a bedroom with a very nice big window looking out over the back area.
The dining room looked very, very nice. The lady said there are three choices for every meal that you can choose from and they have a chef. You could go down there for meals, but if you happen to be sick, they will deliver your meals for three days without charge. Then after that, they charge you $5, but you can also go down and pick your meals up and take them back to your apartment if you want to do that.
The lady sat and talked with me before we toured and asked me about what my husband and I liked to do and what we expected in the place. She explained about the cable being paid for and all the other bills being included in your rent, so you don't have all these added little payments. The staff that I met were all very, very nice. It was just a very homey place.
They had an atrium that had plants in it and looked over to the back area. They also had a library, a chapel, a small theater, a rec room where they had different recreation/games, a poker table, a shuffleboard table, and a lot of different activities. When you lease an apartment, you have housekeeping that comes during the week. They pick up your trash, vacuum, dust, and clean the bathroom. There's a laundry service that does your towels, but there's a washer and dryer on each floor, too, for your own use (you have to put money in them). It's very neat.

For independent living, Pinewood Hills was a very nice facility. I liked the grounds and the outside, and if they had a lower-level unit, they could have a little patio area and it seemed very clean. The staff was all very friendly. They were wonderful. They were celebrating some kind of senior living week and all the staff was dressed up in their rodeo stuff and it was really cute. They were very pleasant with the other residents. They're not modern and new, but they're clean and fresh, so that makes up for it. They were serving lunch and it smelled good. They had groups that they took in the bus to the senior center, and then they had transportation to doctors' appointments within the area, which I liked, and they had some activities like bingo and games that the residents could participate in. Anything to keep their mind active is good.

I toured Pinewood Hills for my mom. It was very beautiful inside, and very community-oriented. It had a lot of different community areas for the residents. They have a very friendly and welcoming staff.
We did a tour of the rooms, and they were all wonderful. We also took a look at the menu, and it had a large variety of different meals. From what we saw, the upkeep and maintenance were great. And it appeared to be safe for the residents. They had a beautiful walking path outside and were safe for residents to gather outside, too. They had a fun media room and a game room area.

Pinewood Hills had activities and I met their activities director. They had a few ladies there doing some activity when I visited. I know they had field trips where they would take them out, but they didn't have a big theater room. They had just a TV and a place where you could watch some movies, that kind of thing. Overall though, I didn't like the look of the place. The staff I met with was very nice, very friendly, and very accommodating. The place was very clean, with lots of lights, and I was looking for something with lots of light coming in.

Pinewood Hills was lovely. I really liked the people there. It's just my mother doesn't want to move now; it had nothing to do with them. The rooms were very nice and brand new with new carpet. Their activities were really good. The food was good, too, especially the cookie. The dining area was very open and inviting. The staff was wonderful, and the facility was really nice.

The visit to Pinewood Hills went really well. The manager on duty was very nice and good. The staff was very nice and the dining room was fine. They had church, singalongs, hair shop, and outdoor park area.

I moved into Pinewood Hills. I have a 2-bedroom apartment, it's clean, and big enough for me. The food is quite good. They have movie nights, Bingo, and they take us shopping once in a while. Overall, it's a clean community.

My visit at Pinewood Hills was a pleasant experience. The tour, the facility itself, and the rooms were nice. I liked them. The one guy who took us around seemed to be a pretty nice gentleman. I didn't have any complaints whatsoever. The residents looked happy; the few that I spoke with seemed to be very happy and pleased. It seemed like a good place to live.

The rooms that I saw at Pinewood Hills were outdated. They have three exercise machines, a chapel that is relatively small, and a movie room that is also small. Their so-called card room is just a table. They don't have a lot of amenities.

Pinewood Hills is our first choice; it's absolutely beautiful, and all of the first-floor have direct access outside without the encumbrance of a porch. We were very impressed with the facility. It's close to all our current doctors and medical facility.

Pinewood Hills has a fantastic meal service, and the food is excellent there. I liked the community spirit very much. As far as the amenities, they have a room you can see movies in, a library, and a cards room. However, these were not as nice as the other places. They had an extremely small room that I adored because it had a great view, and I also had a friend there.

My visit with Pinewood Hills was good. It was very clean and very nice. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable. However, what we did not like about it was that it was all inclusive things, and it was three meals a day with a set menu, and that was not what we wanted. My mother-in-law did not eat three meals a day, and that was not good. They also included weekly housekeeping, and for a little tiny apartment, you know, in a weekly housekeeping, it would be a surprise that for a lot of wasted stuff. So, that’s what we did not like about it. It had too much included in the price.

My father has moved into Pinewood Hills. It’s wonderful. The facility, the staff, the food, the homes -- they’re all wonderful. They have daily activities. Food is excellent.

We already have my mother at Pinewood Hills. I like the management team, the cleanliness, and the food. They have great staff. They have bus trips, they have health and wellness, and they have bingo, arts and crafts, social events, and outings.

Pinewood Hills' staff was really superb, not just with me but with everyone else. The residents I saw were older and were not as friendly. This was the least friendly place I visited. The place was very nice. All of the places I’ve been to were all laid out the same. The only thing that was different was the decor. It was very nice and elegant. The grounds were very well kept.

I had a great tour experience at Pinewood Hills. It was a lovely place with lots of amenities. All of the things that I wanted, they offer. They provide three meals a day as a food option and cleaning every week. It’s a little far from the places that I want to go. Overall, it’s a great place.

I liked Pinewood Hills because it looked sort of homey on the outside. They said my mother could have her dog and live on the first floor where we could set up a temporary privacy tent so her dog could go out and she wouldn't have to. I thought that it was clean and well-taken care of, and I liked the management that I met. I liked this place a lot. They mentioned all kinds of activities right there in the game room, and they have events in the evening, like family dinners and that kind of stuff.

Pinewood Hills looked very clean. Its staff was courteous, and even the residents were very nice. It had kind of a hotel atmosphere where there was still some privacy for the residents. They had opportunities for games and socializing, which I liked. I only saw a studio apartment, which was small but seemed fine. I liked that is had a little kitchenette with a full fridge and cabinets. The dining area was very large and nice. They had separate rooms for activities, like a pool table, rec-room, and then they have bingo and karaoke. I liked the location; it was close to shopping and doctors’ offices. Everything was good, and the price was comparable, but their down-payment is a little expensive.

Pinewood Hills is a suitable place. I think it is a fine place to live, but for the cost, it is not anywhere up to the level it probably should be. It is not bad -- good people, good place. It is settled in a very peaceful community. There are beautiful trees surrounding the property and large grassy courtyard areas that gives it a very homey feeling, so that is a plus. The staff does endeavor to reach out, connect, and help the residents involved in activities. There is also a good support for residents there whether for doctors' visits, going to the grocery, or shopping. They do have excellent support for those types of things.

Pinewood Hills is a very clean facility, and the staff has been very helpful. They have activities, like they do barbecue outdoors and they have a hair salon in there. They also have games and do exercises. They also have transportation to areas and to the senior center.

Pinewood Hills stands out. The rooms are nice. It backs up to a creek; it's not in the middle of a city. It's very aesthetically pleasing. The staff is very nice, very accommodating. I understand they have a chef on site. It has a lot of amenities. There are 2 floors worth of activities. They have a cute little store where they sell everything for a dollar to the residents. If your loved one were to visit another city, they could go and stay in another property that that company owns for free.

Mom is in Pinewood Hills. We like the facility a lot. Everybody's kind of a family there. Their owners live on the property, so they are always available. It is really a nice place. My mom has a one-bedroom apartment. It has a nice room size. The kitchen is not a full kitchen, but it has a full refrigerator and a microwave. They provide three meals, and their food is OK. They provide transportation. They have a lot of activities. They have all kinds of bridge and card games going on all the time. They have puzzles. They have people come in and sing. They have a piano bar. There is a list of 6 or 7 activities that you can do all the time. There is an old chapel there and movie theater.
They have a place for a washer and dryer. They do the cleaning services and wash the linens, but you are responsible for everything else. The place is well kept.

The residents at Pinewood Hills were very friendly. They would help you get into it. They were helpful in making you welcome. The staff was superb. The only problem I had for myself was I'm in a wheelchair, and they had really nice carpet in all the rooms. It may be hard for me to get through the rooms. The apartments were really nice and clean. The food was really good.

I was able to visit Pinewood Hills, and it was a wonderful facility. They toured me around the whole community, and it's very clean. Their rooms are also very clean. About everything I saw at the time I was there, there was nothing I could say was negative. Everything is good. If my mom would want to move somewhere, this would be the place I would consider. I would definitely put them at the top of the list. I remember they had a calendar that showed activities. I also saw a gentleman who was singing Christmas songs. The residents were very friendly, and they were encouraging her to come to the facility, and they would make her welcome.
