Pecan Point Assisted Living and Memory Care was a very nice place. They have lots of activities, which I've seen going on when I was there, and there's a lot of involvement. I know my mother would be interested in it. The rooms were spacious. Their price was comparable. The social worker I visited with and all the staff I met there were very friendly. They have an onsite culinary chef (who was also a dietitian), and if you don't like what's on the menu, they'll make anything you want. That's a plus. They have an enclosed courtyard that was beautiful as well.

My parents-in-law are in Pecan Point. They're in assisted living, but they're going to be moved pretty soon to the memory care facility. It's a nice place overall. Their room is nice and clean. It's a two-bedroom with a kitchen. The staff is nice, but their people are quitting and they're getting new people, so once you talk to someone about what the care that you need, the next day you go there it's not done because there's a different girl. The staff turnover is way too much. The food is not very good, but the dining area is nice and clean and looks like a little restaurant. They have an outside patio, which is nice and clean and has a lot of flowers. They have an activities director. My mother-in-law had to go to the hospital across the street and their staff brought her over there.

Pecan Point was a very nice place and very clean. They were very welcoming and did a very nice job of giving us the tour. For my mother to be able to go into assisted living, she'll have to sign everything that she owns over to the state, so she said no. They allow pets, which was important for my mother. They also had scheduled activities that weren't required but available for the residents to attend. They had a nice dining facility, social area, and courtyard. They said that if my mother wanted to have this or that done, they'll be happy to do it for her.

We liked the layout of Pecan Point and the open areas for camaraderie. It was very clean. Everybody seemed to be upbeat. It was a nice place. They had a little sunroom that they could garden there. They had a snack counter where anytime during the day they could go in and get snacks. They had a lot of puzzles and a reading room. They provide three meals a day and had local transportation. The staff was great. We had a lot of questions, and they were pretty thorough and very forthcoming in answering all questions.

I have both male friends and female friends living at Pecan Point who are all very happy with where they are. The rooms are small and clean. It appears to be a very happy place.

The staff at Pecan Point was very friendly and knowledgeable. The overall appearance was clean, there were lots of activities, and the residents seemed to be enjoying themselves. There was a lot of room, and it was inviting. There was a lot in the menu that I definitely want to go back and have myself. They go shopping, play bingo, cook, and all kinds of stuff. The chef was friendly and knowledgeable.

My Mother has lived at Pecan Point for over 5+ years now, recently she has transitioned over into the Memory Care Unit. Overall the place is very pretty and people are very nice. But it does have its downfalls as any place else. The turnover rate is constant with Care partners. They are understaffed especially in Memory Care. (in my opinion). The Food is 1STAR level & that is being generous. Although there have been several wonderful chefs there in the past. just not lately. The Veteren Care Partners are always on their feet working hard and smiling. Its very obvious to pick them out. The Activity Director is amazing! I have hope for Pecan Point. They have new management there now, and change is good. Mom is supposed to be watched a little closer in Memory care but she has fallen twice since she has been there. And we have found her laying in her own feces several times during the day, because she was unable to change or clean herself from her fall injury. Yet, this is the time of the day they are staffed with the most people….Not blaming anyone in particular, just think there should be more Care partners. I figure its as good as any other assisted living place out there. Mom is happy. Daughter is frustrated.

My experience with this assisted living provider has always been very pleasant. I enjoy visiting this facility due to the fact that the staff are extremely knowledgable as well as caring. The atmosphere is very positive! Pecan Point offers many ammenities such as activities, family dining, transportation, festivities, ice cream socials, interactive dancing when the local two steppers come, laundry care, meal delivery from kitchen, etc. There are way too many to list! The facility itself is kept in very good shape. Upon walking in the door you are welcomed with a clean aroma. Decor is quite elegant yet tasteful! I applaud them on their warm smile and loving demeanor as it makes visiting Pecan Point such a pleasure! I cannot attest to any negative feedback as I have never recieved any negativity by any staff member nor have I felt in a negative way when coming to this facility! I highly recommend this facility to any senior looking for an assisted living as well as a family member who is in search of a great home for their loved ones!
