I loved the size of the apartment at Regal Estates of League City. It had a full kitchen, but it was an older building. It was clean, but there were some things you could tell were worn like the carpet was a little bit worn. Instead of one big area, they had three small rooms where you would go to eat your meals and you could eat in any one of the three. It's not like some of the other places that I had looked at, which were open areas. I enjoyed the lady that took us around.
The only thing I did not like is that they had all of the different classifications, from assisted living to memory care and they were all mixed together. There was no separate area. While we were there, this one lady did latch on to us. She just kind of followed us around and so forth and I thought if I lived here and I had that problem, I wouldn't be happy. I'm not there to babysit. I'm there for them to take care of me.
If I went in there a level 1 and then ended up level two or three or whatever they go up to, I could just stay where I was. I wouldn't have to change, go to the other part of the building, or do anything like that. That might have its good points, but for me, there were things that I could see that I would find not comfortable. I'm a very private person and I don't need a lot of intrusions.
I saw several of the staff. As you walk from one place to another, we'd pass somebody in the hallway and Veronica would introduce them. The rooms were a little bit larger than the other places I had looked. There was a full kitchen, even though it was kind of squished together. It had an oven, a stovetop, and a decent-sized refrigerator, and the one that I had looked at had nice closet space.
They had a central area, which was very well-kept. There was part of it which was for the people that live there that wanted to do gardening or plant things. There was a lot of greenery, there were benches, and there was a little walkway you could walk through in the courtyard. It was very nicely put together. Getting in I did not like it because you had to go through this gate, which was put there not for them, but for a different building that was in there. If your fob didn't work on the gate, you had to make a phone call to get somebody to give you a code to get in. I just found that to be not very good.
We were there in the afternoon, shortly after lunchtime. They were putting together a bingo game. The bus had just come back from some shopping center or some store. The people were nice, the place was very clean, plus it was the only one I looked at that had two levels to it.

My dad was at Regal Estates of League City and we chose it because they were not going to increase his rent based on his level of care. I came to know what his rent was going to be for the length of time that he was there. So, I didn't have to worry about his rent going up. Plus, the staff was very attentive and very helpful.
For the most part, he liked the food. He was in a nice little one-bedroom apartment with a mini kitchen. They provided all of his medications, his three meals a day, and personal laundry. They also had a salon, a library, and a computer room. I saw a lot of the residents in the facility participating in the activities.

My daughter is a resident of Regal Estates of League City. They're very wonderful but it's too far for me to drive. They're expensive, but all of them are. She has a fabulous room. We had to bring our own furniture, but she has a fantastic room. It has a mini kitchen with a microwave, and the bathroom has grip bars. They have lots of activities. It's just that she physically wasn't able to participate in them. They were wonderful, if she didn't feel good enough to go to a dining room, they brought her tray into a room. The staff was fantastic.
They're all very old there, that's a problem. My daughter is only 60, and most of the people there are in their eighties. But the staff is just wonderful, they're always there to help. People even can bring their puppy dogs. They have a wonderful garden and so forth, but it's too hot to be out in but you know, in at a different time. There's a beautiful garden to walk in, and people are allowed to bring their little dogs and so forth. They have a nice dining room. They have rooms to play games like dominoes and things like that for the patients.
She has to have special pre-made food because of her broken jaw and stuff; Her food is all pureed. They go to a nice dining room where they sit around the table, a card table type thing. The facility is very clean. I would say she certainly is getting what we're paying for. I think they're all very expensive when I compared them with others, it was cheaper.

My mother is in Regal Estates of League City. They're very friendly, welcoming, and affordable. The staff is extremely helpful. The rooms are newly renovated. It is assisted living but she's got her own private apartment. It's wheelchair accessible, and it has a kitchenette. The dining room is nice, clean, has good food, and there is lots of socializing. She enjoys the food. They have a fitness room, a crafts room, she can do gardening if she likes, and they have a shuttle that takes them to medical or shopping, they go to concerts, and they go to the movies. They do all kinds of stuff. It's very well upkept and they are in the middle of doing a full remodel, so new paint and new floors. They have happy hour. We went to probably ten different places, and this one was very close to my home, very well kept, it's super convenient, and the price was quite a bit cheaper than some of the other places we looked at.

When I visited Regal Estates of League City, one of the issues I have with them is they're getting ready to undergo a huge renovation. I know it will be nice, but I knew that my mom would not be able to live through that. It would be too much, for her too to handle, having everything blocked off and relocated. She's just a creature of habit, and she needs to know where things are going to be. I don't think that would have been good for her right now. The staff was nice, she was like the area sales manager. The facility was fine. It's dated, but that's why they're there updating it.

My sister is doing so well at Regal Estates. I would not have dreamed she would do so well. She was living alone and that was not working anymore.
The upkeep on a house, the social isolation everything was becoming a problem. Because of her special needs, my brothers and I worried it might not work out. Well it has been several years now and she is happy and doing fantastic! The Staff at Regal is patient, caring, kind and smart when it comes to 'reading' what each resident needs. When we ask for help on something they are quick to respond and solve the slightest issue quickly and efficiently to everyones satisfaction. They keep the residents engaged in fun activities, vary the dining menus, administer her medicines for seizures and the place is spotless and oh so cheerful. All this even during Covid! Our family is so relieved and my sister is so much better off. No more calls crying in frustration from her. Regal Estates is one of the many blessings in our lives!

What can we say about Regal Estates? It is truly a fantastic community filled with friendly and kind staff who truly care for my aunt as if she was their own. My aunt has been made to feel so welcome and like a member of the family. She loves all the events and making new friends!
I was so pleased with the thanksgiving dinner event. Their staff made such a wonderful meal and all residents I spoke to expressed similarly positive opinions about the community and the attentiveness of the staff.
Can’t wait to see what other wonderful things they have planned.

What a godsend! The management and caretakers of this community are incredible. After transferring my father between 3 other local facilities, we have finally found a home for him. The staff is attentive, considerate, and willing to meet the needs of their residents.
Their events calendar is overflowing with community events that have genuinely made my dad feel like he’s part of a family.
The management is accessible and always quick to respond to emails and phone calls.
We’re so blessed to have this community for my father.

Caregivers are frequently rude and careless, including vital medical support and equipment. Resident checks are not consistent, and despite paying for extra levels of care, said care is not consistently received. Staff puts on a "nice" facade when visitors are present, but facade is dropped when family and visitors are no longer present. Facility is touted as having nursing staff on site, but nurse is rarely even available Monday-Friday during business hours. Facility is touted as having many activities but in reality there are very few activities, and many scheduled activities either don't actually exist or they have been cancelled, often. Staff doesn't appear to promote or encourage socialization or participation, so residents are isolated and frequently left alone in their apartments.

If you are seeking a fun, resident centered home for your loved one, look no further than Regal Estates! Our family member moved in recently and they absolutely love their new home at Regal Estates! The staff are fun loving and engage with the residents as though they are family. They have tons of activities like singalongs, painting, happy hours and excursions! Regal Estates is the best place for your loved one to continue enjoying life! The apartments are spacious and the food is delicious !

We are disappointed with Regal Estates of League City. They claim to have a lot of activities, but they don't seem to be happening. The people are friendly and the management works hard, but the activities are lacking. I'm hoping they're going to work on that and improve that because that's the primary reason we chose them over others facilities. We've also had some issues with my mother's oxygen not being plugged in. They need to put some money into updating it. It's a little more like a nursing home.

I have been engaging with residents at Regal Estates in League City for over ten years. People always say they love living there. It is pretty and nice, clean, friendly, welcoming, and easy to make friends. The atmosphere is like a community where you can socialize or have privacy if you want it. They take you to the Wortham Center for plays and performances, lunches in fun restaurants, and different activities like the Wildlife Park in Dickinson. They are quite creative in trying to keep the residents active. The staff is really sweet and cares for them as if they were their parents or grandparents. Most have worked there for many years and are very professional. They keep a close eye on the people to ensure they are safe and happy.

I liked Regal Estates of League City. The people that I talked to were all upbeat and liked the place. I like to be able to see the water and there were certain apartments there where can see the water, but they were small. I saw a one-bedroom, one-bath. They were not new, but they had reasonably good furniture. The layouts were OK. The kitchen was big enough, but the closet space was terrible. The lady who showed me around was so nice, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I really enjoyed being with her. I had a hamburger and that was fine. The people there said the food was good. Everybody seemed to be satisfied. The staff was very wonderful. I really liked them. I like that you can go in independent living, but you can also move to more assistance.

The food is horrible and unhealthyl We've talked with the company many times and it gets better for a short time, then back to its overcooked, too many fried foods in unhealthy oils, etc. Many of the staff are very nice. The facility looks good. Sadly, the food is very huge. My mother's arteries got more and more clogged in the 7 yrs she lived here. Now she's had a stroke so we moved her. Should have moved them out as soon as we realized this.

Regal is very nice. The room my husband has is huge, and everything is new there. The only thing they do for him is give him his medicine. The people are very kind, and I think it's a good place, but he wants to move. I don't know why. He said he wants something lower in price. They have so many activities he can do, even going outside of the place, but my husband is sometimes very depressed and doesn't do anything except be in his room. They have all kinds of things, like exercise and a pool table. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I would say the food is mediocre. They take them shopping twice a week to the grocery store, or go out to eat sometimes, but my husband doesn't participate. They could take him to his doctors' appointments, but I always do that because I want to. Overall, the staff and place is fine.

My mother will be moving to Regal Estates of League City by the end of the week. She liked that it's homey, all of the people are really friendly, and she wouldn't have to go from an assisted living to a skilled nursing if she needed more help. She can stay in the same apartment. The staff is very caring and knowledgeable and seemed to know all the residents very well. They've been very helpful to me so far. The location is great and close to grocery stores, Target, Wal-Mart, and doctors' offices. It's pretty perfect for me being the person driving her around. The price is in the middle but seemed to offer everything she needed.

My experience touring Regal Estates of League City is very good. I have a couple of friends that live there. One was a former neighbor, and I have lunch with her occasionally. Food was good. Her room is not spacious in comparison to what I'm used to, but it would probably meet my needs, say in 5 or 10 years.
My friend plays games, and she spends a lot of time in crafts, etc. Their staff members are very attentive and very professional. It's a very nice place.

Regal Estates of League City was nice and pretty. Everyone, including the residents, was very friendly. For the most part, it was easy to navigate. We saw many different rooms that were pretty spacious. The dining area was nice.

Regal Estates was very nice. The person who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable and nice. She was concerned more about my mom and not about making money, which I really liked. The assisted living itself was very comfortable and pretty. The people were friendly. It looks very accommodating, and I liked it. I have already put money down at Regal Estates because we are getting it back if my mom chooses not to do that.

If you are looking for a special place, for someone extra special in your life or for yourself, Regal Estates is that place. Our Dad was in need of a place where he could be independent but still have support with different aspects of his everyday living. Regal Estates is that place. When you visit for the first time you feel alone and confused. After your visit you are filled with hope and excitement. You now have an extended family. Angela, Chris, Judy, Erica and Dee are just a few of the dedicated and devoted people that take excellent care of your loved ones. We visited numerous "new homes" and this was the best of the best.

We’ve been to Regal Estates, we’ve a lot of friends there, and we went there with our activity group to play games. We saw one large room with a bathroom and a kitchen, and it’s an ample room. It’s a very nice place. They do have a bus that would take people out to shopping and theaters.

At Regal Estates of League City, the staff seemed nice, but the community seemed a little overcrowded. There were a lot of people there. The rooms weren’t bad; they were spacious. There seemed like a lot of people. I like the room size though. The staff seemed nice. The dining area seemed OK. They told us about activities, but I didn’t see any of the activities myself. They had a list of activities.

Regal Estates of League City had good, nice, and big rooms, and I think they're better than most places for the price. I like the level of care and their communication to each other. The food is good. They have a variety of activities, and they have different church services which is really good and important for my mom, and they have activities for their minds, arts and crafts, Bingo, and a lot of good activities.

Regal Estates of League City was not only beautiful like a hotel but also seemed like a happy place. There was laughter and a lot of people out and about socializing. The rooms were lovely and very pretty. They had a beauty parlor.

I will never be able to say enough good things about Regal Estates. They did an amazing job with Mom and made her transition from her own home to assisted living as good as they could. She made fast friends with the activities director and all went out of their way to make her a part of the community. We truly loved this place but once Mom progressed into Alzheimer's, she became more aggressive and a danger to others. We had to move her to a memory care facility. We even threw a BBQ lunch for the entire staff after she was gone to thank them all. I so wish Mom could have stayed til the end here. They became part of our family in a short period.

We visited Regal Estates for my father. It was great. It was a nice place. I didn’t meet everybody, but the ones who I did meet were good. The rooms were nice. They have enough room, and they were clean. I would recommend Regal Estates to others.

Regal Estates has four or five different floor plans ranging from efficiency up to two-bedroom, two-bath, and I didn’t choose any particular one. I just said that I was open to anything from efficiency up to the one-bedroom because it’s just my father. Anything from the smallest to the largest one-bedroom that they had was what I put him on the waiting list for. The staff was very friendly. The only people that I met were the receptionist, the marketing manager, and the nurse, who did a very quick evaluation of my father to see whether he might qualify to live there. The day that we were there happened to be Veterans Day, and they were having a special Veterans Day ceremony and giving out certificates to all of the veterans and wives of veterans. I know that they have physical and occupational therapy there, but that’s only on doctors' orders, so it’s not something that everybody gets. They have an exercise room.

I moved my father to Regal Estates 1.5 years ago. He had lost a spouse and had health issues that prevented him from living alone in a small town. Regal Estates has been perfect for him. It is clean and happy place. Safe and comfortable. In response to previous reviews. I visit at least 4 times a week and spend a lot of time there so I see a lot. I like the reception desk right when you come in. Residents are free to come and go but check in and out. Staff always knows who is there. This is excellent security for the residents and to prevent just anyone off the streets from coming in. They know who is in the facility at all times. You are always greeted with a smile, you feel welcome. I love coming in seeing everyone gathered around the main entry hall. It is a social area where residents gather to visit, wait for family, etc. in nice weather residents often gather outside to watch the birds and enjoy the weather. Yes some are in wheelchairs and some are napping. That is what happens if you are fortunate enough to live that long. If I sit down too long I also fall asleep. There is a list of activities every day. Bus that takes people to doctor appointments and many outside activities such as shopping, annual events like baseball games and the air show each fall. Regal Estates is both independent living and assisted care. This is not a nursing home nor a memory care facility however residents are able to continue to live as independently as possible for as long as possible due to the levels of assisted care available. There are 2 floor and 2 wings of the building. The main area are clean and well maintained. The meals are good, there are several choices of foods at every meal, snack times, happy hour and other special events. The apartments all have handicap designed walk in showers no bathtubs, nothing that you have to step in or out of. The apartments are roomy and nice. This is their private home space and this is respected by the staff. There is a weekly cleaning and laundry service. The staff is skilled, caring and always do everything they can to provide a safe and healthy environment. My father has made this his home , is cared for by a professional staff, he has made many friends and even has a special girl friend. He just celebrated his 90 th birthday and yes, you may find him napping in a chair by the reception desk. I am a medical professional and have lived in League City for over 23 years. Thank you Regal Estates for all you do for me and my father every day

We didn't like Regal Estates of League City at all. They had good food and very good care services, but it was not quite as nice as the one she stayed in before. They should improve the activities for all residents. They offer bingo, but my mom doesn’t like it and isn't happy that there aren't enough activities. Everybody has dementia, so one day they know you and next they don’t, and my mother is not happy about that.

Regal Estates of League City was a large community. It seemed they had a lot of options. It was very clean. However, it was way too large and had more than we needed. It was actually set up for people that needed more assistance. We saw one of the rooms and the cafeteria, and they seemed to be nice. The staff was very nice too. They seemed very competent.

Financially speaking, Regal Estates of League City is the one we like best. It looks homey. I just felt my mom would be happier there because the people there are really sociable. There were a lot of interaction with the different people.

Having my mother, mother-in-law and father at assited living, nursing homes and rehab facilities the past four years has taught me one important leason; caring for your loved one is about the people. Regal is a nice, well kept facility, but it is the care givers that have made it a special place. In all that time I saw only one instance of a employee being rude to a resident. I never reported it, but I never saw that employee again. It takes a very special person to deal with the problems of aging; where they found so many good, patient people is beyond me.

My mom has been a resident for 3 yrs. Everyone that works at Regal is friendly and helpful to residents and families. I felt like I made new friends with many of the staff and other residents. Regal is always clean and they have lots of activities for residents. The staff worked with us as our needs changed. My mom said many times that she liked it there and was happy. I highly recommend Regal Estates.

My dad has been at Regal Estates for about four months. His quality of life has greatly improved since he moved into the facility. The staff and personnel treat him like family or a dear friend. All that was promised by Regal Estates has proven to be true or better than foretold. Meeting with Angela Reader and working with her to find a home for my father has proven to be a great blessing for him. Also, those who have chosen to live at this location have become dear friends of my father. It is a wonderful place to live. God bless Regal Estates.

Took my Mother in law for a vist this residance and it is beautiful! Angela is a staff member and took us on a tour. She is one of the nicest people we have had the pleasure to meet. My mother in law loved it and will become a resident there next year. We have visited 3 others and none like this. The entire staff was very kind and friendly and really made a difference . My Mother in law has been unwilling to agree to assisted living until then. Now she can't wait to get moved in. I would highly recommend Regal Estates. Thank you Angela!

I was able to visit Regal Estate, and it was a wonderful facility, very beautiful. Everything was just nice. We had lunch there, and it was great. The staff was very nice as well. We were there around lunch time so I did not see many activities going on. I saw that there were residents on the porch talking.

My sister is already at Real Estates of League City. We chose it because it's wonderful and they have been wonderful. The staff are very helpful. She has fallen three times while she is walking and I have been contacted immediately and the doctors were there immediately. There has never been a problem. The rooms are wonderful and very efficient. The facility does not have an alcohol scent, and it is very clean. My sister likes their food except one thing, and I forgot what it is, but she has been eating everything.

Regal Estates was located in a nice neighborhood. It was very homey and very friendly. It has a very strong community spirit. There were people going up and about in activities and doing things. They were mingling with one another, very active, they were singing, and you could tell they have friendships there. The staff has genuine care, very professional and very friendly.

My mother is currently a resident of this facility. When she first moved there, I spent a substantial amount of time with her. There are many nice things that I could say about Regal Estates, but most important to me is that they deliver what they promise. The staff are caring, compassionate and quick to respond to resident's needs. The residents are friendly and have helped my mother adjust to Sr. living. My fears about moving my mother have been overcome as this facility has exceeded all of my expectations.

We went to Regal Estates of League City and it’s a beautiful facility, but it is large. It would be hard for her to maneuver the place because she's blind. The staff were nice. Their rooms were nice and the dining room was very pretty. They offer pretty much the same activities as the other facilities like bingo or arts and crafts, but we never really worry about activities because we know she wouldn’t be able to participate.

Mom will be moving at Regal Estates of League City. We chose this facility because it's reasonably priced and less expensive than some of the others I've visited. I also had the chance to visit Regal Estate and that is a very nice facility. A very pretty and clean place, but it just didn't work out for my dad because they don't have a secured facility and my dad has Alzheimer's, but what they have is a 24-hour nurse. I haven't tried the food but it looks good.

Gina of Regal Estates was very helpful. My mother and I met with her and I had met with her previously and talked with her on the telephone, she was helpful and pleasant. I did like the place. It was close to a good location where we wanted my mother, which we haven't moved yet and my sister lives very close to her. It looked like it was very finely run.

This is a very nice facility, but there are issues as with any place. I found the fee for eating with the residents to be too high for what you got. Sometimes the food was good, other times it was horrible. The care takers work the kitchen as well as help with the residents, too over worked for the most part, in my opinion. Getting things fixed seemed to take too long, ie. toilet seat was broken and wasn't fixed immediately, a BIG safety hazard. Took several weeks to get a light bulb in the bathroom replaced. Not enough activities for all the residents, only those that were able to travel outside the facility and get around, the others seemed to be lost or left without much to do. Overal it is a very clean and well kept facility, but needs some work for sure.
