I toured the Presbyterian Village North. They had very good security. Their grounds were excellent, well-kept, with lots of trees and flowers, and a lot of greenery. It's a quiet neighborhood, and the little houses or cottages have been kept up and remodeled, so all the facilities look new. There's nice amenities, it was an excellent place, it did have a big enough living room on it, and it had an extra, like a den to it, or an office, whatever you needed it to be. It had an extra room with the two bedrooms and two baths. It's very bright. The only drawback for me was the location of the unit they had available. I didn't care for that. It was close to Forest Lane, sort of backed up to Forest Lane, and I live close to 635, so I didn't want traffic noise. The staff member, Paige, was excellent. I didn't see a dining area because there was a lot of construction, they're building some more units, and the main building where the dining area was is in the middle of the construction area right now. Instead of going to the dining room, they're delivering the meals to everybody so they don't have to go through the construction. They get construction on both sides of the building, and it makes it a little hard for people to get to it, but the grounds and the walking paths were manicured very nicely.
They have all kinds of classes, they have an indoor swimming pool, and then they have classes where you can do exercises in the pool. They have a lot. The problem that I had with that was it was a little out of my price range. The money to put down on it was more than I thought I could afford, except they do tell you if you can afford it or not, because that was my biggest concern. She said I could, but I wasn't real comfortable with it, so that was another drawback for me. I just couldn't make myself comfortable with the feeling that I could afford it.
It's either 60 or 66 acres of property. Paige just drove me around, showing that they had executive homes that are a little bigger. It looks just like a regular home with a nice big yard, and they keep care of all that. She drove me to the newer units that were in the back. I think it was two stories high, or three stories high, with underground parking. That was a beautiful view of the nice green area in front of it.

My mom will be moving in Presbyterian Village North. The staff is very accommodating. The apartments are very nice. It is currently being remodeled. The dining room is very nice. We tried the food, and it was very good.

Both my parents were at Presbyterian Village North before they passed away. The whole thing was nice and everybody was good. The rooms were clean. It was a topnotch facility and I would recommend it if you have the money for it.

I recently had a client that was lived in a independent living facility and her health declined so she had to relocate to a nursing home and her family asked me if I would help them locate a place that was great for there mother so I went to the Presbyterian Village North I was very impressed this facility was Huge and very secluded that would was great for me.
.The whole community was gated in I seen security and they directed me to the assist.living portion of the center. There I was greeted by the receptionist she was very friendly and outgoing I noticed that she held the elevator open for each of the residents that were going back home and that made me feel safe knowing that she cared about the work that she did. I notice that there common area was filled with lots of book, magazines, coffee, tea and cookies and even seen some of the residents laughing while enjoying some treats.I was taken to one of the private rooms and it was a nice size equipped with a stand-up walk in shower it also had tons of closet space. The home was very ,very clean.I also went to the dining room and it was very spacious four to six residents to the table, wait staff seemed like they loved there job pushing residents to eat as much of there meal as possible. At the end of my tour I realized that there hall were pretty short and that was great for me because they spend a little bit more time with my client when on the days that I was off.So all in all I loved the place to and my experience was very pleasant.
