The facilities did not provide the level of care I felt was necessary for my loved one. We had to ask for the bed to be changed more than once. They did not keep other residents from coming into her room even though we requested that they provided more privacy. Also some times the food was not good and alternatives were not made available. The staff had bad attitudes and acted like they did not have the time to take her request seriously. Also whenever she had a medical need, no-one there wanted to deal with making doctors appointments. They also did not notify the family until last minute that she needed transportation to the hospital or doctor. When our loved one was finally diagnosed with cancer she was taken more serious and a better level of care was provided. Although things could be improved on, my loved one did enjoy the activities such as bingo night and family dinner night.

Whenever I've been there, the staff has been friendly. Those living there get a bed, a closet, and a mini-fridge. From the looks of my grandmother's room, the rooms are sometimes shared, but she has her room to herself. From what she says, most of the residents aren't able to get around, and that a lot of them have dementia. This contributes to her feeling a bit isolated. According to her, the food is also lacking, because it's made to accommodate residents without teeth. However, she is allowed to have food in her room. The grounds are unimpressive, and there isn't really anything other than a little bench under a tree for residents to take in. It's a decent facility, certainly not a horrible place to live, but it's probably not the best out there.
