On a down hill spiral. 5 different directors while my mom was there. Staff poorly trained if at all. The food is bad along with the dining service. This place could be much cleaner and the carpets are torn in places making it unsafe for seniors. The new director is arrogant and incompetent.

This place has declined significantly! Massive turnover from cleaning staff to directors. Horrible communication. Food service is terrible. Pendant response time is up to 40 minutes. Don’t be fooled by the attractive facility. They tell you what you want to hear. No accountability from the new executive director.

Delaney Parkway was a beautiful place; it just was gorgeous. Tracey -- I think she's the manager over there -- she was just delightful. She was absolutely exceptional, she was professional about everything she did, and she's a great tour guide. The only reason why I did not pick them is because it's more of an apartment style where you have different floors, and I didn't like the floors. It's more beautiful than the other facility I visited, though. It's a beautiful property, but I wanted a single-floor property where my mom wouldn't have to go up and down the stairs or anything. Of course, they have elevators there, but I just didn't want her on an upper level where she had to go up and down. If they only had a single-level apartment, that would have been my first choice. Their study area was perfect; they have a nice, beautiful study area. The lobby was gorgeous and the kitchen area was, too. They have a little bar for happy hours and all of it was beautiful. The place is set up more like a retreat center, as opposed to assisted living.

The Delaney at Parkway Lakes is too large and wasn't as friendly. It's brand new and a lot more expensive. The rooms are like any other small apartment.

The Delaney at Parkway Lakes is the nicest among all the senior places we've seen. It was beautiful, fresh, and clean, and it just opened in December. The people there were lovely and it looked like a very nice place to live. It had a full-sized refrigerator, a microwave, and granite in the bathroom as part of the deal. The bathroom had a shower that was a flat, so if you have a wheelchair you don't need a lift. Michelle who works there is great, so I recommended that my mom's friend go there. It's a great place and the people are great too.

The Delaney at Parkway Lakes was really new. I toured that place and I got a good vibe from the people that showed me around, but once I started walking around and meeting some of the other staff members (like management), I didn't get so much of a good vibe. I ran into the executive director. They didn't seem to have the time of day for me. It's just opening so activities were still wrapping up and they had a lot of nice, new amenities. I just felt I couldn't get the time of day from the management. The rooms almost felt like a hotel. They have a library and a fitness center. The immediate staff member that I dealt with was presentable, but I'd give the management a two. The facility has a long way to go.
