My brother will be moving into Villa Northwest Assisted Living. It's a very homey place and friendly. As much as we can see, it always seems very clean. The staff was very knowledgeable, and friendly, and assisted us as far as getting us around. It's a very nice place. We know it's old, but they've kept it up to date. They have a little microwave, a refrigerator, a sink, and a little cabinet. It looked like a little kitchen, but they didn't have a big stove and all that stuff. The outdoor area was like a street between the two buildings. The residents can walk all around. There was a nice, long porch in the front.

We're interested in Villa Northwest Assisted Living because it's a very small place but the people there love their patients. The patients look healthy, they're moving around and they have their freedom, but they're also being kept in close eye contact. I met the deputy director, she was super nice and felt like family. I feel like they're the perfect place for my mom. It's a very good facility, just from the outside looking in and just from the tour. You could see everybody interacting, so it's definitely where I want her. It's not the fanciest place but it's well-kept.

Villa Northwest Assisted Living was nice, clean, and up-to-date. It was a nice facility. They were very informative and took the time to show me around their facility. I saw their salon and their nurse's office during my visit. They were also in the middle of a remodel but the place seems very clean. The location is good because it's close to our family.

Villa Northwest Assisted Living was very old and in pretty bad condition, but they were in the process of renovating. The staff were wonderful. They were great, very knowledgeable, and helped me a lot with some of the questions that I had. They only had a central room or a meeting room.

Villa Northwest Assisted Living was extremely clean, and it smelled wonderful. The two ladies that helped us were very friendly. The passing people in the hall were friendly. They spoke, and they welcomed us. It's a very small place, which we liked. We only looked at the private apartments, which had a bathroom and a little kitchen area. It's all one big room except for the bathroom. The bathroom is a separate room. They had semi-private rooms as well. We didn't see any activities during the tour. They were finishing up lunch when we got there. There were just a couple of people left in the dining area finishing their lunch. We saw up on a wall a big poster of the month's activities. We did get to peek in at the beauty salon and somebody comes in once a week. There was a library. It's set up like buildings, and the building that we looked at was just the private rooms. There were only 32 rooms in that building. It doesn't have a courtyard, but it had a really big porch with rocking chairs and things that you could go out on. They provide three meals a day and they have the option of whatever they're having at lunch or supper. If they didn't like it, they could pick from this other little shorter menu like soup, sandwich, a hotdog, or a hamburger. They had a few little extra.

My mom lives in the Villa Northwest Assisted Living. The people who work there know every single resident by name; they know all about them. In most places, the facilities are just so large that she wouldn't get the special treatment that she needs, but here, they give her personalized treatment. The size of the room itself is very, very nice. We were able to arrange her furniture so there's no clutter. She has her own things from home, and there's still plenty of room to walk around. It's not a fancy place at all, but it's very, very adequate. The food is good. My mom likes it. They have bingo, exercise classes, and a beauty shop where they can get their hair and nails done. They have a calendar of activities that includes a Red Hat club for the ladies. (I noticed them meeting in the afternoons.) They also have a nice game area and entertainment on Tuesday nights; a pianist comes in and plays.

My mom was at Villa Northwest. They were fabulous. They were very personable and caring. They went all out to make her comfortable, and they were obviously that way with all of the residents. They had a really nice room where they did some activities, but because of COVID it was probably not as busy as normal. They had a TV room, and they had exercises and bingo, too, but Mom wasn't able to participate in them very much. They took great care with the meals, even on the weekends, which was very difficult, so Mom really appreciated that because she loved the food. The place was very clean, and even the bathroom was immaculate. They cleaned really well once a week, they gave it a little run every day, and they picked up the trash and stuff. They had really nice rooms. I looked and looked before we picked this one, and it was the most reasonably priced. It's a really excellent facility.

My dad is in Villa of Corpus Christi Northwest. I have heard good things about them from other people that have family members there. They have been communicating with me if there are any problems or issues. The staff is really friendly and helpful and I really like the place. The food is good. I actually sat down and had lunch with him one time and it's really, really good. They helped me get a bed, a recliner, and a table for him. The place is very well cleaned, maintenance was kept up. They also helped him setup his TV.

My brother has been a resident at the Villa NW for many years now & we feel truly blessed for the care he receives. The facility is one of the cleanest I have ever experienced & over the years I have visited many others that couldn't compare!! The staff is friendly and are always available to both the residents and visitors. Being able to receive medications in a timely manner have made all of the difference. Our family is comforted knowing that he is getting the best of care. They have also handled the extreme challenges during this Covid outbreak to keep residents & staff healthy!! Congratulations on a job well done & blessings to all!

I am a close friend of a resident and go to the Villa frequently. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The staff members are so kind and helpful to the residents. The place is clean and well maintained. I never have to worry about my friend being cared for at this facility. The residents' rooms are large and can be arranged in a manner to have a sitting area, a bedroom area and a small kitchen area too. The rooms can be decorated to suit the resident so they have their own favorite things in their room. The rooms have private bathrooms with a walk in shower and residents can get assistance with their showers if needed. Housecleaning and laundry are provided by the Villa staff. The three daily meals are nutritious and healthy. The residents eat in a nice dining hall. There are plenty of recreational activities and parties for the residents to enjoy. Medications are administered correctly to the residents by a staff member so you don't have to worry about your loved one getting their medications in the correct manner. The facility is staffed 24 hours a day so the residents always have someone close by. You can take your loved one out for outings too. I would highly recommend Villa Northwest to anyone.

My aunt and uncle are in Villa of Corpus Christi Northwest. Everything has been well for that, and we are hoping that they continue to settle in. It is very close to their home. I go there very often. It is cleanly kept. The people are very nice, friendly, and very accommodating to whatever needs to be done. They take them to shop once a week, and they have activities in an area there in the building for different kinds of crafts and people coming in, doing presentations and talking. They are always doing something to keep them involved. My uncle is a veteran, and they are always willing to work with the VA. If he needs to go officially to that and also for them to see any kind of specialist, they are willing to help set schedules and to take care of their needs. I have not seen any problems with that at all. I think the staff is easy to work with and they care. If you have complaints or something, they don't ignore that. They follow through, and that's what I like. I think they are working very hard to keep them happy.

The Villa Residential Care of Corpus Christi Northwest resembles a bank of lovely, quaint bungalows that we really like. The design is safe, yet private for seniors. We have been a bit anxious about how the structure of the new home for our aunt might be designed, and this looked really nice to us. All of the outer areas feature places for the residents to enjoy the outside -- another great feature. They don't need to travel too far or rely upon someone to take them around. The units all had walk-in showers with safety rails and easy access designs. The kitchens were ample enough for those who like to heat up or prepare own meals -- and even entertain a guest. The views from each unit were lovely -- from gardens to greenery -- each one had a very nice view. The hairstylist is available weekly - who makes the rounds for all of the residents. There is a shopping service and the residents can have anything delivered that they desire. Doctors are close by -- less than 10 miles. But there is also a resident physician that residents may see at any time. The decor of the dining room featured a mix of different style of tables -- very eclectic. The food looked really well prepared and delicious, as well as full of good nutrients. The residents are offered snacks throughout the day, as well. The common areas were all spacious and tidy -- with a very nice vibe to them. The staff was helpful and kind to anyone who needed help. They schedule lots of social activities so the residents are never bored. On site, there is just about anything one could want to do -- from reading to excising, playing games and socializing. The residents go out to a lot of local events in the surrounding areas. We could see that this is a really lovely, quaint facility with kind and caring staff -- and very well taken care of and content residents.
