Have a younger brother that was a patient for physical therapy at River Ridge for 2 weeks. He is blind, diabetic and on dialysis. The caretakers were exceptional. They checked on him several times a day. Since there were no phones in the rooms we got him an iPhone. We programed all of his phone numbers in it so he could call his friends and family. He would use Siri and we had it programmed to answer after 4 seconds. He was having trouble with it the second day. He must have touched the screen and messed it up. He was telling a gentleman in his physical therapy about it and he took a look at it and fixed it for him. Now you may not think thats a big deal but to a blind person it meant the world. They came to him and said he was being discharged in 3 days. Oh boy now im stressed out. I needed to find him transportation to and from dialysis, home health and a couple of other things. On th day before he was to be discharged Christina called me and said....I have everything set up for you...his transportation, home health and everything else. I told her WOW you just took a 2 ton block off my shoulders. All of the staff were just great. Thanks for all you do RiverRidge.

My husband had two more strokes, and he is now in River Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation. He has been there since August. Everything has worked very smoothly. I'm very satisfied with them. Everyone has been very helpful, cooperative and informative. I heard no complaints from my husband about the food. They're almost excellent.

I have been visiting this home for three years. The improvements and quality of care I have seen over the past 18 months are exciting. This home always smells fresh and clean. The residents look happy and clean and seem to enjoy many activities. The community living space is clean and inviting. I also visit the locked unit of the facility and never hear crying or yelling. There is a lot on one on one attention given to residents. In the past 12 months I have seen very little turnover which I would attribute to a strong management team. Lots of happy faces here and certainly worth checking out for rehab or a permanent placement.

They do not respond when the buttons are pushed. Were notified numerous times that a patient needed assistance to the restroom until they finally couldn't wait any longer. When asked staff to do something, it was always "Not my job". They scolded the patient for calling and spoke down to them. They moved the phone from resident's reach because they didn't need to be calling anyone, would not put resident in wheelchair until they agreed that they were going to stay there the rest of the day. Nurse Administrator was nice, until things were questioned and then she became belligerent and started removing comfort things from the patient, as a punishment. Personal items disappeared rapidly with no response to the patient's concerns. High employee turnover.

My dad was in Trisun Care Center. The times that I was there, I didn't ever get a chance to get to know any of the staff. I never met the administrator. There were very seldom the same people in Trisun. People wouldn't show up, and then others would have to fill in. They only had one person for an entire hall through the night. They were very understaffed. There was some reason why they could not hold onto their staff. The nursing home was full, and maybe that has something to do with it. There were a lot of residents. My dad was very patient, but they just didn't respond to his needs at all, and he wasn't that demanding. He complained they were a little rough with him and they fussed at him if he had an accident. It wasn't a pleasant experience. The only reason why we chose it is it was close to where my brother lived or where my dad lived so that my brother could visit more regularly. I think it was clean. If they had changed someone and they had disposed of that, they tried to get rid of it as quickly as possible. He was never alone in the room. One guy had a recliner in there. There wasn't enough room for it, and it spilled over into my dad's space. They had a little curtain that you pull, and we couldn't pull the curtain because of that chair.

This place should not be in business! The State of Texas should walk in here and see if they would leave their loved ones in here...I bet they would not! Very dirty, the rooms were filthy and had bugs and the care givers just left people sitting in the halls half naked in wheel chairs, leaving no dignity for the patients...so sad!! Would you want your mother sitting in a wheelchair in public view with no clothes on?
