My mother put down a deposit and was scheduled to move in to a recently vacated apartment. One month later, the apartment still wasn't cleaned or painted and there were ants. We gave them 3 opportunities to fix the problem and then canceled the move in. 4 months later they have still not refunded the deposit and are telling us that since they have a new owner, they cannot help us get our money back.

My friend, Ruth, has been here for about a month now. It's modern, the food is excellent, and the care is very good. The staff is very attentive and super to work with. I'm in and out of there almost every day and they all know me now. When my friend rings her bell, it takes usually less than five minutes for someone to check on her. I'm very impressed. They serve three meals a day and have movies in the late afternoon, cards, dominos, and puzzles. This weekend, they had their Irish event with dancing, music, and Irish soda bread; they were really celebrating. They go shopping and to the casinos, and just about every minute of the day they have activities they can participate in. They have a hairdresser there four days a week, and home healthcare is in and out of there every day of the week.They come in once a week and clean, do the laundry, and change the linens, wash them, and bring them back to the room. If Ruth is not up to going down to eat, they will bring her a plate. The facility is very clean, and they really take great care of her.

It is a brand-new place and magnificently beautiful. It's like a hotel. They have an exercise room, a medication room, a bistro, and a dining hall. The only drawback that I had was that it has two floors. The food was outstanding.

I’m in an assisted living home now. It has been great. The service, food, and staff is great. They have anything that you could ask for, like movies and special events. We have something going on every day. We’re very comfortable here.
