Worthington Manor was absolutely gorgeous, but it was $5,800 base for a one-bedroom, plus the care package. They had a smaller bedroom, but it only had a twin bed, and that's not gonna work, but the facility was absolutely beautiful. If we just had the money I definitely would consider going there, but it would be over $6,000. They have more stuff to do. Wednesday they have a happy hour, and they bring in a band, and you can have a drink. You can get a beer or a glass of wine. They just had more party stuff, more activities. They had something going on all the time. The residents seemed very, very happy. The people at the Worthington all seem to be really enjoying life. I loved it. They were great. I saw an exercise class going on there. It was really nice. They invited my husband and my mom to come to their family night. They're having a big St. Patrick's Day celebration, so we were invited to come to that. They're going to have a band, and everything for that too. They just really had everything. It was just a very, very nice facility. I liked the staff member who gave the tour a lot. She's very nice, very upbeat, answered all your questions, and took me around to see a couple of different apartments/the whole facility.

After nearly a lifetime of serving their family and friends, my parents came to Worthing Manor six months ago. The Manor, as we affectionately call it, lived up to even my greatest expectations. The staff is loving, personable and well trained. It’s obvious that they aren’t just doing a job. They truly love their residents.

Worthington Manor is very nice and very clean. The care is very good. I've eaten there when I was visiting my friend and it's very good, too. It was well-balanced. They have all sorts of games and all sorts of different participation programs. They also have a hair salon. It's a nice facility. I like the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff the most.

Worthington Manor was beautiful and brand new. I thought it was a very nice place. It's a little hard to tell about it because it's so new. They have plenty of activities planned, but there aren't very many people. It's a lovely place and the people who run it seemed to be compassionate and know what they're doing. Some of the people that I dealt with, with hospice care and the people who have been involved with some transfers, had good things to say about it. The staff was very nice. The room itself was very nice. One concern or disappointment I had in it was there was very little storage space in it. It had a wonderful, big bathroom, but a very, very tiny closet. My father has changed so much, and we probably could have made that work, but at the time, he still had a lot of things that mattered to him, and that he knew about and cared about. We couldn't have left those things with him there in the small closet space that was available. Otherwise, the apartment was wonderful. It had good spaces for group activities. It had a movie room and an exercise room. I was particularly impressed as I walked through with the kinds of spaces and planned activities that they had. I met the people at the welcome desk and the sales representative or the move-in consultant, and all of those people were very compassionate and seemed to be good at what they did, and they were very friendly. It was a nice atmosphere. They followed up, which is another thing that I think is important.
