I like the cottage that I saw at Blue Skies of Texas West. It has two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a patio. The staff was very friendly.

It is near a small airport west of town. It is a beautiful facility. The apartments are bigger in size. They have games like chess and bridge. They also have fraternal organizations, so they have lots of formal dinners. They take day trips to events. The apartments are kept in very good shape and are wired for internet connection and telephone. The staff is fantastic.

My mother had a short experience here after she went out from the hospital. Without a doubt, the place was just fantastic. It was amazingly clean. The staff was great and treated the residents very well. They were very good in the physical therapy too. They had few patients and I think it's good because the patients were able to receive more care. They also had a really good food. Indeed, it was a great place.

I thought it was great. Everything about it was great. I liked that there was a lot of grounds. My father could go walking or take a walk on the grounds, and he would have a GPS necklace. The rooms were fine. There was an exercise class going on in the pool; there was just a lot of movement, and that was what I liked about it. The assisted living location was attached to the independent living, so there were a lot of places where you didn't just have to stay in the assisted living area. They were in different buildings, but they were sort of just a little distance away, and with that GPS they can keep track of everyone. I liked it because he wouldn't be stuck in the assisted living. He could go and walk over to the independent care and have lunch and everything, or wherever he needed to. I had lunch there and the food was great.
