My mom was at the Optimum Personal Care for respite care. It's a quaint facility, and it looked like they've done some remodeling. It's a cute place that had a pretty landscape and friendly staff. It's more home-like and not like a medical facility. They were kind, personable, and very attentive. They had nice TV rooms in each of the four different buildings. Each one was like a little house that had separate rooms in it. Then they had the kitchen in each of those little buildings too and a living room. They normally would have some activities, but because of COVID and stuff things were a lot different.

My dad was at Optimum Personal Care and they did a wonderful job. A friend referred me to this place. They have great staff who are very loving and caring. I don’t know what I would have done without them. They met his medical and dietary needs and at the same time makes him comfortable. This place was a good fit for us to have my dad stay at Optimum Personal Care. He was in a room and it was a good sized one.

We place my mother at Optimum Personal Care. She has been there since September. We chose it because it is well staffed. The ratio is 5-to-1. It is very clean and has no odor whatsoever. The people are very nice and seem to be fit for the kind of work that they are doing. They are very attentive to the clients. They just do an excellent job. I have never seen a place run so well. The other reason is that it is small. They have two houses and/or buildings, and I think the maximum number in the one she is in is 10. So, there is a large living room area, and then there are rooms around that area. So, if she has a need, she can just speak loudly; even though she wears a device around her neck, she will be able to get the attention that she needs. We like that rather than a large place.
