Atria Sugar Land was clean, up-to-date, friendly, and open. Everybody there was very knowledgeable. They have a lot of events that people can do. The staff was amazing and warm. I saw a menu and they have different varieties of food. There were two or three different items that they could choose from, not just a set item. The residents do dancing, movies, restaurant visits, haircut, stretching classes, and yoga classes.

Atria Sugar Land was a larger community. Not a larger place, but a larger community, because they've already been established. So they're almost at full capacity, and it's very homey and very nice. I noticed that the seniors were very interactive with each other, while the other places we looked at were more of a hotel type of feel, but this place was like home.
The person who gave me the tour was extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous, willing to help, and even called me at home trying to see if my mom could be a fit for the community. I was able to taste the food, and the chef had baked and prepared food for me to take home and it was very good.
The rooms were like studio apartments. They're small, but perfect for seniors as they didn't need too much space. It could be a little more updated though, but it was very nice and clean. They had a whole board of activities from bingo, card playing, Zumba, and outside gazebo. So, if you're an active senior, this place has it all.

My mom is going to be moving into Atria Sugar Land. We have chosen them because the price was right, and the people have been amazing. They have been very helpful, they answered all my questions, and they have made every way possible for our mom to move in. We had to really look at her budget, but we have managed it, so she is moving in on Wednesday. They seemed clean; I didn't smell any foul odors when I entered the building. I met with some of the staff, and they appeared to be very friendly.
My mom's room is nice. She is going to be living somewhere much smaller than where she is living presently, but I don't think she needs all the space anyway, and they have everything that she will need. It has an old, traditional kind of Mediterranean look that I like, so that was nice. The layout seemed very clean. They also showed me where people sit in the dining room and where there is social distancing. They were very firm about their COVID restrictions and screening people, so that was important to me, too.

So far, my mom likes Atria Sugar Land. She has been pleased with the food as well. The staff has been very helpful if she needs any help. She said for the most part everyone is pretty nice and respectful. They have quite a bit of activities. They have virtual church on Sunday, they have exercise classes, and they have a beautician there on certain days where they sign up to get their hair done. They have two different patios there, too.

We chose Atria Sugar Land because of the location. They also gave us a better move in deal than other places. They waived their community fee and discounted their monthly fee and gave us a move in special of $3,000. My mother is in a one room apartment. It's a nice and clean community, although we haven't seen a whole lot of it because of the COVID restrictions. They normally have daily activities and events, and they have a planner or coordinator who plans several things for the community.

The tour at Atria Sugar Land was pretty nice. It was a little bit of pressure at the end talking about the promo, and I didn't like that feeling. It was a bigger facility, and I thought my brother might get lost in it. The lady was good, very personable, nice, and they actually had a box of cookies for me. For the right person, I think it would be nice, because it's a little more expensive. It had a very nice dining room.

Atria Sugar Land was smaller with very friendly people. It's pet friendly and looked like it would give my mother the care she needed. They have bingo every day which she loves, craft sessions, and two 30-minute periods of exercises. They welcomed her dog by building a small fence on the patio, so that her dog couldn't get out. It's very welcoming. She wouldn't leave the room to go to activities or meals, and during the first couple of weeks, they made it a point to always have someone dropping by and taking her to different activities; now she's a full participant. The food is excellent. It's an older place, so the air conditioning, the carpets, and different things are older, but it's very clean.

Atria Sugar Land was very nice, but it didn't have independent living. The sales person was a very nice lady and she was very helpful in giving us information and in showing us the rooms. We saw the activity rooms, the library, the game room, and their programs. It was a 2-story building and it was in the area that had been flooded recently. The lady told me they hired a hotel to accommodate their residents during the flood. I enjoyed talking to the people there and it seemed like they were very well organized and very attentive.

My visit to Atria Sugar Land was very nice. The rooms were very nice and clean. They showed us the rooms, the exercise place, and the laundry room. I thought the people were all very nice, very helpful, very pleasant, and informative. I was very pleased to meet them.

Atria Sugar Land was very pleasant and very cheerful. I had lunch there, and the food was very nice. A lot of the places had comparable amenities. The Atria was just the best value and the best location. They have exercise classes, they provide transportation, they show movies, and they have excellent food.

I was able to visit Atria Sugar Land, and the place was very nice. Even though it was an older place, it was well kept. Everything felt like they just refurbished it. The staff was very nice, and the place is very active. They have a lot of activities going on.

Atria Sugar Land is an older facility but nice. The people were very nice, but it was further from my house, and the rooms were small.

Our experience at Atria Sugar Land has been very good. The food was excellent. The people have been great. They watch baseball games, and they go to movies. They take them to WalMart to shop. They are very active. My dad plays domino everyday from afternoon till evening. There’s always stuff to do in that facility. Today, they have a Mardi Gras party. Dad is very happy, and comfortable at this facility. It is a clean, and well-maintained facility. We have recommended this facility to our friends.

Atria Sugar Land was a very nice community, but it was very expensive. The apartments looked clean with decent sized rooms. The dining room was clean and very spacious. The person who gave us the tour mentioned activities, and they have an activity coordinator. What impressed me was the atmosphere and the friendliness of the people that gave me the tour. I also liked it because it was one-story, and it looked very homey.

At Atria Sugar Land, they have very nice people. They were willing to work with my parent's pet. However, they would not allow the sling for my mother. She requires a sling to get out of bed. The staff was very nice although the young lady at that time could not answer all my questions. They did not have their brochures available. The girl was unprepared because she didn't know we were coming. They gave us peach cobbler for dessert, and it was very good. I think it was a newer building, and it was clean. I would say the rooms looked fine, but they were small.

Mom is living at Atria Sugar Land. We chose this facility because it really was the one that fit my mom's needs best. She didn’t want to live in a really large place and this facility is a lot homier. She also wanted to be in a place where the food is really good and in Atria their food was very good. They have fresh vegetables and not just canned food with a lot of sauce on it. The location is very convenient as it is very near to doctor's offices. The people there are very friendly.

My parents have lived at The Atria for four months now and we can't say enough about how wonderful, cheerful and lively it is. All the staff are very kind, helpful and encouraging. Before they had wanted to stay in their home but ended up BOTH in the hospital at the same time doing badly. We had to find a place very fast and the Atria went out of their way to provide a satisfactory solution quickly. Since being there eating regular gourmet meals and having all their meds done properly, my Mother has gained 12 lbs back and my Dad is running the computers, going to the IMAX and museums, etc!! Just walking in makes me happy!! But most of all my parents are happy and getting adjusted to a more active lifestyle!

I had been to Atria, and the work attitude of the staff was great. They were very helpful and positive. I thought the rooms were small. They had a lot of activities like games, puzzles, bingo, movies, exercise, and painting sessions. I really liked it, and it would be my second choice at this point.

Atria was a really nice and fun place. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly.
The rooms were good size and comfortable. I would have been happy in one. It was a very pleasant place to be. The dining room was laid out really well. I saw the menu and the food list was really good. They would take you to doctor's visits. They have gardening and quilting. It felt like a community. It didn't give you a nursing home feeling. It would definitely be a place I would send my mother.

Mom is at Atria and it is our choice because it is the most flexible and economical in terms of the cost. It is in a nice and easy to access area. The rooms are spacious enough. Whenever I visit my Mom, the whole facility is very clean. Everything is wonderful. The staff is very caring, kind and gentle. I am recommending them to others.

I visited Atria Sugar Land because we were looking for a place where my mother-in-law could stay. The place was awesome and the atmosphere was great. There were private and semi-private rooms. I toured the private room, and it looked like a personal room. The only thing I didn't like was that the Alzheimer's patients could not go out, they just stared out at the window.
