About This Community
At Lucas Place, we provide thoughtful, compassionate care in a warm, lively senior living community. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. We welcome pets and help our residents thrive in mind and body through activities, such as bingo, church services, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and sittercise. Our residents also enjoy invigorating outdoor activities, including nature walks and grilling out. We strive to offer high quality senior living to provide the comfort and care our residents deserve.

I very much enjoyed talking to the staff at Lucas Place. The facility seemed very well kept and my mother had an opportunity to speak with some of the residents. So, we were just very impressed with the entire place. It's clean. It's a small community and easy to navigate. My mother had a taste of the food and she liked it. The staff was very friendly, very professional, very knowledgeable, and very interactive with the residents.

I have a friend who lives in Lucas Place. She has a positive experience with them and it's a nice community. She likes the food and her room is nice. It's small, but it's adequate. The staff was friendly and nice. Then they have a calendar where they do a lot of things.

Lucas Place was very nice, and everybody was very nice. The place was clean. I didn't have a meal there, but I've seen the menu, and it was nice. I saw bingo and there was a meeting. I talked to a few of the residents, and they were very pleased.
They showed me the room, it was really clean and nice; she showed me a 1-bedroom. I remember seeing a refrigerator, and microwave. It was like an attached kitchenette, and it was nice.
I saw the dining room, the courtyard. It was very nice, and everything was very clean. I saw the TV room and the family room; it was very nice too.
They offer transportation to and from the doctor. They do a lot. That one kind of stayed in my head, but all of them were so expensive.

Actually, my first choice was Lucas Place. It's very clean and very updated. That's what I wanted, but it just didn't work out in our favor. It was the first place I looked at, and I was overly impressed. I would have no problem recommending Lucas Place. I met several of the staff members. Everything was fine. The staff introduced me to people and a lot of staff while we were walking through. They offered meals. They actually offered everything. The staff said we wouldn't need to bring anything. They provided everything. Anybody would like it there.

Lucas Place was fine and the staff was good, but it wasn't what we figured was suitable for my sister-in-law. It was just a lot smaller than the other place, and there were not very many people there. She likes people. The rooms were nice, but not quite as airy and open as the ones at the other place. There was certainly nothing wrong with it. It just was not as suitable for our family member as we figured the other place was and we had already seen that. The staff during the tour was all very competent, very friendly, and very open, and they've called me several times.

The room at Lucas Place is very nice. My cousin moved in. It's in very good repair. The hallways are nice, wide open, and bright. The place looks immaculate all of the time. The two courtyards are very nice. The people are very caring. They pay attention to little details and do special things for the people there. I'm very pleased. It is a smaller community with only about 50 rooms and more intimate. It is more homey and doesn't have all the little bells and whistles. The food is good. They have different activities going on all the time.
