My mom is in respite care now at Plum Creek Place. I was surprised because they were priced a little less than some of the other ones she stayed at. It's actually more like a little apartment. It is very, very nice. The staff is terrific. Because of the timeline I gave them, they worked with me on getting everything done. They were very efficient. Her apartment looks great. It has a little kitchenette and a private bathroom. The day she arrived, they took her right into a Christmas party. It seems like they keep the residents busy with all kinds of activities.

I visited Plum Creek Place. It was very pleasant outside, and really very nice on the inside in the suites that we were looking at. They had very accommodating staff. It definitely was well-staffed, I was pleased. The people were interactive with the staff in a positive way. We did observe what was available. The time we were there was dining time, and there were people. It was nice, people were interacting. We saw people walking the halls, but they weren't that active because it was a cold day. The rooms were adequate, they were very nice. There's a kitchenette, a microwave. There's a lot of perks, and some of them had to move up to what they considered a suite, which was a bedroom separately, and the living room. I assumed that was affordable compared to others. It was probably the most affordable with as much to offer as anybody. I thought it was probably best, actually my mom enjoyed it the most. They had a very low turnover, I asked about it. The turnover was not as high as you'd expect for these kinds of places. It was clean, and it was well designed. A lot of room to be if you had wheelchairs or whatever. There was room to move down the halls. The doors were definitely big and adequate, everything else was. It has handicap access in the bathrooms, everything had all the rails and bars in that.

I visited Plum Creek Place. I liked the helpfulness of the lady that I met with, the cleanliness, and the quiet environment. I didn't see anything they needed to improve. The staff was very helpful, very informative, and pleasant. It was a real nice room that I viewed. It was very comfortable and good sized. It would just be perfect for my brother. It's fairly close to the hospitals.

Plum Creek Place was very clean, the people were very nice, and it was very appealing. They keep the residents busy and the meals are included. The man that took me around on the tour was the only person I met. The building was very clean and presentable.

My mom is a resident of Plum Creek Place and the experience has been extremely positive. When we took mother there we liked that she was comfortable there. It was vey nice and not too fussy or too over the top. It was just a comfortable place for her to be. I did not try the food, but Mom loves it. They have the dining, activities, and an activity room, but during COVID they are bringing some of the activities to them, and they have a courtyard. Plum Creek has, and this is something that we were interested in for mother, the front door is locked all the time and the family can decide whether the resident gets the code to leave or not. So, we think it was a safer place for mother so she cannot just wander around.

My mom is in Plum Creek Place. Emily White was amazing to work with; she made it really easy. It was a nice transition, it's very clean, there are nice people, and my mom seems to be very happy there. She has a studio, and when she moved in it had new carpeting, it had been freshly painted, and it was spotless. It's a very nice, very nice facility. She seems to really enjoy the food, and she likes the fact that they have a full time activities director, so they keep her busy. They would come to the room and invite her to join the activities, and she likes that.

Plum Creek Place was very nice. I liked that it's all one level, and she has easy access to smoking, but the room layout was not good. The people were very friendly.

Plum Creek Place is assisted living. I was very impressed with everything the marketing director told us, and so we made the decision to come here. She seems very confident, reassuring, and willing to help us in any way she could to make the transition smooth. They were offering a sign-in bonus to move in. She was very accommodating. They have a sister facility in the city where my mom is currently residing, and so she had their nurse come over and do her assessment and she had the executive director from another facility to come and assist me with information for the admission process. As a person making those decisions, I was impressed that they were willing to go that extra mile to make it happen. I really formed a nice relationship with her over the phone and I felt like I knew her. My niece who also made the site visit is an RN and within a short period of time, she texted me and said "I love this place." I asked her what she loved about it, and she said that she likes the size of it; the fact that the dining room is up front, light, and airy; and the marketing director. She said she really hit it off with her and thought that she was doing a really good job and understood the philosophy behind assisted living and the difference between caring for senior adults in an assisted living community as opposed to long-term care. We decided to take a one-bedroom apartment and went back a second time to look at it and was very impressed. The outside exterior appearance of their facility is much better than their interior. I was very disappointed with the interior because it was dated and needs to be updated. It's clean but nothing matches. The dining room is hideous, dated, and none of the furniture matches. It looks like it's from the late 80s. It's not impressive. As far as interior physical appearance, this one would get a 2 on a scale of 10 because it's not attractive on the inside in terms of amenities and furnishings. It's not dirty or worn, but it's dated. When I got here, it's not as favorable as I'd hoped it would be. The staff has been good. Some of the things that I expected to happen didn't happen. I spoke with the administrator this morning, and she very quickly took action and course corrected. Things are good and getting better, but they're going through a transition now, and had some staff turnover, which I think that's fairly typical in this industry. They have really done everything they could to accommodate us, listen to us, and correct anything we had concerns about. They deserve a 5.

Plum Creek Place is a nice and clean facility with friendly staff. That is why we chose this place for my father. He has been there a month already, and I have been happy with it. For the most part, with regard to the food, my dad says he is happy with it. They always give him options. They have an activity schedule for the residents that keeps them active every day.

The staff’s working attitude was great. I was pleasantly surprised that they were all nice. I can see that they are really helping and caring toward the residents, which means a lot. The rooms were all clean.

My ex-husband loves it. They've got great rooms, brand new furniture, and very nice dining area. They play bingo, they have movie nights, and they have exercises. It has a great atmosphere. Everybody's really nice, and they treat him very nicely -- they treat him like a king. If he wants more to eat or if he wants something else, they get it for him. I've eaten there, and it was fine. When he first moved in there, he wasn't too happy about it, but now it's a lot better. He has been there nearly three months now. You can go out and sit in the gardens, and you can have a pet if you want to. It's a pretty place, it's inviting, and it's very well decorated with flowers. It looks like a cottage home.

My dad moved in last April 2012. For most part, we're happy with it. They have high turnover of staff but they happen to get nice and friendly people. At first, food was a little bit erratic. Portion sizes were big and small but they solved this problem now. My dad is at the lowest level of care, he needs minimal attention.
