About This Community
At Redbud Place, our McKinney, Texas, assisted living community, we provide thoughtful, compassionate care in a warm, senior living community. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Our community welcomes pets and offers activities to help residents thrive in mind and body, such as bingo, exercise classes, bible study, ice cream socials, and pet therapy. I loved the people at Redbud Place. The residents and staff were fabulous. Everything is self-contained. Everything you could need is self-contained in the facility. It was great. It is right next door to the McKinney Senior Center.

I didn't really take a complete tour at Redbud Place because of the COVID, and I didn't know that it was a self-pay when I went in, but the two ladies that I spoke with were super nice. It seemed like it was very clean, and the people looked very happy there. The dining room looked very clean and all the furniture was good. I actually used the restroom and it was very clean, too. I didn't go back into the room area because we had determined by then that it wasn't a place that we could afford. The facility was very clean and updated-looking, and it was almost new on the inside, even though it was an old building.

They are very caring, and the residents are happy at Redbud Place. It is always clean and everything. The only downside we have is they don't have enough staffing. It's just that they're strapped for staff right now, and it's kind of stretched in resident to staff ratio. My dad is there now.

The people were very friendly and caring. The room was spacious and very clean. It suits our needs.

My aunt is a resident here. Every time we come to visit, everyone is so friendly and professional. I feel quite comfortable when we are there. I work in the healthfield, and at most places they smell like a 'nursing home' but this place does not. It smells like a home =)
