The thing I liked least about Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Abilene was they transported you everywhere in a wheelchair, so you got weaker. I'd rather have more walking. Also, they didn't have staff to assist you with walking if you wanted to. I was there for balance, and riding in a wheelchair doesn't help my balance. I needed to walk. The overall facility was nice and I think the treatment was balanced. You had one hour of occupational, one hour of physical, and one hour of speech. If you didn't need one of them, they could balance some of the other ones out a little bit.
