About This Community

To us at Autumn Oaks - assisted living by Americare in Manchester, Tennessee, assisted living means two things: you do the living and we help you live. Our personal assistants provide what you need when you need it. Here, the emphasis is less on paperwork and more on people. Our licensed nurse and certified medication aides get to know our residents like family, with all of their unique needs and preferences. It's like home.

Dining is a focal point of our residents' day at Autumn Oaks - assisted living by Americare. It starts with an open breakfast with eggs just the way you like them. We accommodate our early risers ready for toast and coffee as well as those who can't start the day without a big hot breakfast. Comfort foods, foods familiar and favorite, are part of our menu.

Our admission counseling services are comprehensive. Our administrator helps guide the family through all of the care options available to them as well as through the maze of paperwork involved with accessing our public long term care benefits. Making it easy on the family is our first priority at Autumn Oaks - assisted living by Americare.

I moved my sister into Autumn Oaks in Manchester in Oct. 2012. We had tried 2 other facilities prior to Autumn Oaks and moved due to location and money. We love Autumn Oaks for many reasons. The facility is very beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff are very professional and personable, and are interested in helping the residents to feel at home, cared for and loved. Our experience thus far has been very positive and pleasant. The staff try to provide activities to keep the residents engaged in social inter-action, as well as fun and creative challenges. And also there are planned events that include family members and friends which are always fun to attend, giving more interaction with family members, as well as other residents. We are very fond of the director Stephanie and the nurse Tina. They always have time to answer our questions and offer help in various situations. We're just very thankful to be there.

This is an excellent facility and I am in the position to be a good judge. My mother-in-law stated there for 6 years and my mother is at this facility at this time. She is 91 and I go almost every day to see her. I go at different times of the day and I am a register nurse of many years who taught nursing. The staff is caring, good in patient care, communicating with the patients, and recognizing the signs of a patient needing special help or higher care than they give. I give them an excellent rating in every area.
