We toured Charter Senior Living of Franklin and we loved it. It was just really beautiful, modern, and well-maintained. The staff was very caring and professional. The people that we met were just great. The rooms were not huge, but sufficient, modern, and ready to go. We saw the menu and it looked good.

My mother has moved into Charter Senior Living of Franklin. I love it and they have welcomed her with open arms. It's all on one level, which is nice, and it's smaller, so it's more intimate. Her room is a good size, and she has a lot of furniture in there. She has a bed, a dresser, a tall dresser, and her recliner. The rooms circle a courtyard, and they always have baby ducks in there. We were told we could put a birdfeeder out and we did that. So far, my mom is very happy there, which is important.
They have a dining room up front and my mom says the food is good. Everyone is very caring there and that's the other thing I've noticed. My mom said, "If I don't go to dinner, they're trying to find out where I'm at or if I'm OK." Everybody gets a button that if they need a staff person, they just push the button. My mom has one on her wrist, which is nice. If she falls, she just has to push that button and the staff will come right in.
The dining area is nice. It's like a family-style dining area and it's more intimate. They have the bus. They put a sheet out t the beginning of the month and it tells all the different activities that are going on from arts and crafts to going on a ride somewhere, going out to the store, or doctor appointments. They have a Wii bowling setup, and they have someone that sits there and helps them figure out how to use it.
My mother has a big triple window in her room. It's a studio, and she likes it. They call the maintenance person right away if needed. We had to have a couple of things done just because she is moving in. Maintenance is good. The executive director there is very nice and very hands-on. You'll see her helping put out food. She sees what's going on out here. They're working very hard at making sure everything is good. I'm not having a problem with anything.

My mom is in an assisted living. I like that it's a small facility. There wasn't anything I really liked the least. I would stay there if they would let me stay there, but that's another story. Their food sometimes is a little lacking. She has been there for sometime now. It's been a good place for her; it was a good fit. She is just at the point where she needs to leave there. It was a good fit for her, and it worked out well. The staff is fine. They do have activities. They have bingo and crafts. The activities director takes them outside. They go on little trips. Before COVID, she would take them to church. They have all kinds of things. It's close to where I live, it's close to some restaurants, and it's close to the mall.

My mother has been in here for two months now. She seems to enjoy it. There's a limited number of people. There are only 40 to 50 residents, and it's a one-level facility that's in a circular shape. The outside rooms have access to the center common area. They also have outside wraparound porch, where they can sit out and enjoy the outside. She seems to like it. She has memory problems, so she can't really tell you everything. Once they start realizing that she's not able to manage at all, then we will have to send her to a more memory care facility. The staff is very nice. Her room reminds me of a studio motel. You have a bedroom, a bath, a living area with a kitchen, and enough room to put a little two-person dinette.

My wife has been here and we've had nothing but praise for the place. They're very friendly, they know the patients' names, and they're very kind to them. My wife enjoys the food. The cleaners and the cooks are all nice to me. It's a well-run place. They go shopping, go to restaurants, play card games, and they have a lady who comes and plays word games with them. Today they're going to have a Fourth of July singalong. They also went to the library last week. The place is clean, bright, and cheery. The size of the place was nice, with just 40 residents, so everybody knows each other. Shannon, the director, is fantastic, involved, and energetic.

The girl was really great. She was fairly new as the director, but she was upfront, honest, and great. They were in the process of upgrading since it was an older facility, but we really liked it and the size. The visit was great. They were helpful and honest.

I really like it. I like that it is not far from the shopping areas and that they provide transportation. I saw that they have a piano and lots of books, which I like as well. They also have excellent food. Their dining area is very nice.

It was a very nice facility but it does not have an Alzheimer’s unit. It was very clean, it had great food, and a very friendly staff.

It was very nice, but it was not large enough. I wanted a 2-bedroom, but they only have 1-bedroom. That staff was very nice and showed me around. I thought it was a very good place except that I want something larger.

I liked the proximity of it, and it seemed fine. The rooms had their own bathroom and a kitchen counter for a coffee cup and a little refrigerator. The dining area looked very nice. They had exercise classes, people come in, and they had a full calendar of activities. The day we were there, the therapy dogs came in for a visit, but we missed them. The residents seemed happy, and we talked to a couple of residents. The place did not smell bad, but the cleaners had a strong perfume, and those scents made my mom sick.

The staff was extremely nice. The facility is smaller, so the whole operation is smaller.

While visiting this assisted living facility, I was more than impressed with what I saw and experienced. There are not a lot of patients here, and the staff seemed to know each resident by their name. I noticed that they had a ton of recreational activities for the patients who were very happy to get involved. I have to say that this facility really seemed like a home. The patient rooms had different layouts you could choose from, they could decorate their rooms how they wanted to, there were lots of choices on every single menu to pick from, it was honestly just a great place. We admitted my family member two days after visiting and have been pleased ever since.
