We toured Regency House and it was the first time I've ever been in one. It was nice. It was a very nice tour, and we really liked it. The only thing is it is so little, but I got to get used to that. The people were very nice and were extremely informative. There was a lady named Kelly and then there was a nurse, I think, I forgot her position and name, but they were very, very helpful, and very nice as far as finding out things. The place was good and clean. They were remodeling, so there were a lot of boxes. They had just received the dining room chairs; they were waiting on the tables. It was already nice and clean, but it would be very nice. I had visited people in homes, but I guess it was a nursing home because I was just thinking I couldn't stand the smell. That's why I keep saying it was very, very clean. I hadn't thought of it until right now, but you didn't even have to think about smell. I liked it. I was just kind of drawn back with the size of the rooms. The staff was very, very helpful for me in offering good advice that we did not know. She knew that this was our first tour and that we were just getting into this for the first time, and she was very, very helpful. Food was on their list, and I had planned to ask them for one, but I didn't notice it until I got home. My daughter passed the coffee pot and she said she'd like to have a cup of coffee, and the staff said she didn't know how fresh it was, so we didn't go there. We'll call and I would like for us to sit down and just see how the meal is. They gave me a brochure, but we did not tour the outside. We went in the front door on one side, but they do have something. I saw a bench or something out there. I asked one of the staff that helped me out to the car. I had a walker and she walked me out to the car, and I asked her where the flowers are or where they are supposed to be because I like a nice courtyard. She just said, "Well, it's wintertime right now," and some other things. But it's just that I didn't see one. They wash for you once a week. So, they do all of the washing. In the room, there's a microwave, a refrigerator, and a nice little counter set up. There were nice closets, too. It's a nice little deal. I looked at a one-bedroom and a studio. I don't think a two-bedroom was not mentioned. I guess they are like middle range as far as price is concerned.

I had an in-person tour of Regency House. The staff that I interacted with were nice. I just didn't like it. The staff answered my questions. She took me on the tour and interacted with me. At the time I went, they had just had a flood, so all the flooring in one of the hallways was all torn up, and it was just cardboard down. I guess the part I saw that wasn't damaged by flooding, I'll give it a rating of three. For the amenities, there was nothing that stuck out to me.

We went to Regency House. My mom did not like it, and I did not either. It was the first one she went to and she said she'd feel like she was in jail. There's no parking and they were doing a lot of renovations, so it was kind of messy. They had us go into some of the rooms that were occupied, and I didn't really like that. I felt like I was intruding, even though they acted like it didn't matter to the person. It just didn't look that clean to me. It didn't smell that clean either. The rooms were really small. It just really turned my mom off and it made me realize I wouldn't want to be in there, especially because my dad is still alive. So it's both of them and I can't imagine having two people in one of those rooms. Everybody seems pretty happy. I mean, they didn't seem like they were mistreated or anything like that. It just seemed kind of, there's really no place to go outdoors, or sit outside. The girl that gave us the tour said she wasn't the one that normally gets the tour. The girl that did was out sick. I consider that because it sounded like it wasn't her job normally, but she was very nice. I think she could have shortened the tour quite a bit, but since that was our first one, you don't know. I know they had games, puzzles a lot. Somebody was doing puzzles.

My mom has been in the Regency House for three weeks now, and they've definitely met my expectations. Their staff is very friendly and seems genuinely concerned with the residents. They interact with them. It's just a good environment. I think there's maybe a capacity of around 50 or so, and it's more of a family feel than a nursing home. What I like the most is the care that they provide and the location. It's convenient for me because it's located between my work and home. It's also a place that gives us the best care that she needs. The rooms are really nice too. They're almost like a little small apartment. She has a living space, and then a little small separate bedroom (which is all hers). It's private, so it's nice that you could bring all your own furniture and stuff from home. They have daily activities like trivia and bingo. They've been really good to work with. They've called me, kept me up to date on different things, and go above and beyond in what they could do.

I toured Regency House, and I was not impressed. The people were lovely, but it was dark. My sister is wheelchair bound, and they were showing me a room on the second floor that I did not think would work for her. I felt with a wheelchair she will probably need to be on the first floor. The staff knew what they were talking about and were well informed. It was not impressive, but it was OK. It would have been a lovely old home, but it was just kind of dark, or at least it was on the day I visited.

I like Regency House. Although it's very small and not up to date, it's doable and much more affordable than others. The staff was excellent. If it was closer to me, that would have been my top choice. The setup was more like a family look, all the way down to the dining room. The residents seemed happy, they were well-dressed, and nobody looked unhappy. It's not fancy, but it's OK, and I'm not used to fancy. What concerns me is it's on Hamill Road. It's a busy road and there's not a lot of places to get out and walk if you wanted to.

This facility is wonderful while the previous director of nursing name Renee cause all kinds of problems clinically. Believed now that she is gone things are getting back on track. The administration is very caring and concerned. it's a wonderful place come see for yourself.

Has the potential to be an excellent facility the executive director and business office person are ruining every opportunity for this place to thrive. They are extremely rude and unprofessional, they have the worst customer service and you can tell they do not have their heart in their job. The only reason they are receiving one star is because the new nurse manager. She is trying to fix everything but she can't do it by herself. They should fire the executive director and allow the nurse manager to take over this building an let her make this facility excellent. She has the most caring heart and is working all the time, she is there at least one day every weekend and you can really tell how much she loves the residents and their families, when there has been a problem she has had it resolved within 24 hours and if not she calls with updates so that we know she hasn't just let the ball drop on our concern. We adore Renae, we just wished she had the team that she needs to support her and as long as the current executive director Christian is there she won't be able to change a lot.

This place is wonderful!!!! The food is fantastic! lots of activities and the residents where very happy. I met with the administrator and nursing staff - they are GREAT - problem solvers and great and listening to what we needed. The administrator even gave us his personal cell phone so we could call back if we had other questions.

About three months ago, I put mom in Regency House, and so far, the experience has been very good. I chose it because of its location and cost. They have a small exercise room. I haven't tried the food, but Mom always has positive comments. The staff is fine.

I am moving my mother this weekend to a place called Regency House. We have not even moved in, so I don't really know a whole lot about it other than they have just been qualified to give dementia and Alzheimer's care, but I like it. It seems to be homey, a small community, and I like that being smaller, and it is close to where I live. I have not met anyone other than the administrator and the head nurse.

Regency House is where I am moving my mom. It is really good. So far she is not living there yet, but I love the staff. They were really good, and they showed me everything. She will actually have a menu to get from her mail which the other facility does not give them. The day that I talked to them, they actually asked me for any food she didn't want, so I told them. Almost every single day, that is the food she got. The room that I was shown is really nice. She had been in there before about ten years ago. She liked it there, and she liked the people. That is why I went back there because I knew the whole staff has changed and the executive director has changed. They had done a lot of remodeling; I went in there, and I was surprised. The executive director is great too.

My sister has been in this place for only two weeks but everything seems fine as of the moment. We chose this facility mainly because of the expenses. Her accommodation could be bigger but it's okay. There's only two staff and they have to do the best that they can. They provide her needs but sometimes they don't also. But as of the moment, the care they provide her is satisfactory. I'm content with what they're providing my sister.
