I visited Foxbridge. It was a nice tour. The staff was very helpful, very patient, kind, and answered all of our questions. It was very clean. They had different-sized rooms that could accommodate a person. It was a clean, nice room. They have common areas right outside. They will have a group of like four rooms and they have a common area for those rooms. They have a dining area and an activity room. I really wasn't looking at the decor, but from what I remember, it was nice and up-to-date. They had multiple large screen TVs, water dispensers sitting out, and a coffee station. They encourage their residents to drink water, so they have a dispenser there.

My stepfather has moved into Foxbridge. It's very nice and I like it a lot. The rooms are small, but they're nice. Some are bigger but you pay more for those. The staff is wonderful. They do activities in the dining room or common room. They'll have movie nights, games, and sometimes they sing karaoke. They also go on trips to Walmart.

Foxbridge was a locked facility, so it was good for memory care people. They had 5 levels of care, and they had cottages on each level of care. The environment was nice. It is clean and well-laid out. The staff was very respectful and helpful. I thought they were very good. The room was spacious and adequate. The dining area, and the food were fine. They had enclosed areas. They had activities during the day. They had a very large grassy area, and that was very nice.

Overall, I think Foxbridge is a very nice place. They have all levels of assisted living, and the staff seems to be very friendly. There's a lot of activities going on, and, as far as I can tell, it's a good place. My mother is in memory care right now, and she's probably not really happy to be there because I think she would rather go home, but that's not an option. Sometimes, I think the communication is not great; we don't find out things quite as quickly as we'd like to.

My father was placed in Foxbridge, and I think it's a good place. I've only been there two or three times because I live about four hours away, but everything's been pleasant. The food is very good, and the building is very nice. I really like the building; it has a lot of windows. There's a place where people in wheelchairs or people like my dad, with a walker, can go out into a lovely yard with a really nice gazebo, and they have a tiny pond. It's just a pleasant walk down there on the property. I like Foxbridge.

I like Foxbridge. It is set in a wooded area, and you feel like you are out in the country far away from the city. The houses are set up in cottages where a group of residents stay. They can move about, but they live in little home-like cottages. They dine in the cottages. There is a small lake where they can fish. The caregivers seemed very attentive and knew the folks very well. I thought it was a very relaxing environment. I thought it was excellent, but my mother didn't like it. She didn't like the idea of using so much wood. For me, it was a very positive experience. Each one of these facilities was quite different, but each person there at each facility took plenty of time with us, talked to us, and explained everything in a way that we never felt rushed. They were very professional. We saw the residents dining, and they were at individual tables. They seemed very happy, and it was positive.

My dad has been here for a year, and I count myself fortunate to have found them. He has dementia and was brought in at level 3 of care. As there were higher levels of care available, I was relieved to know he'd be able to stay at the same facility, even if in another building. The staff is attentive and interact with him. The administration has been helpful to me.

My mom is in Foxbridge already. We chose it because of location. I toured it, and it looks like a very nice place. They are taking good care of my mother. I would not have her there if I didn't think they did. The rooms are OK. My mom has complaints about the food, but she complains at any kind of food because she is not eating well these days. However, when I see the food, it looks good, and actually, they do a very good job. I am not exactly sure of all the things that she does during the day because I am usually there in the evening, but I do know that she has exercise classes. There are people that come in, have little concerts, and play guitar, and she likes it. I feel comfortable with Foxbridge. They are patient and caring.

Foxbridge Assisted Living Center was very clean and nice. The grounds were nice too. It’s fairly new, so I don’t think they have that many tenants yet. But they also have a building for people that have mental health problems. I talked to the lady down in the restaurant area and the lady who gave me the tour. Her name was Cristy Barton. Everybody was really nice. It was located in an OK area not really nice but I think they got it because they can get that really piece of property reasonably. They were some people playing cards. They had a workout room and that sort of thing. The ones who were playing cards seemed happy. I didn’t get to see many of them.

I placed my mom at Foxbridge Assisted Living in the Memory Care unit about 3 weeks ago. It is too soon to give a comprehensive review, but I am pleased with the care my mom is receiving so far. They are a very caring group. I chose Foxbridge after I had visited two other facilities that I liked very much. Foxbridge was much closer to home, I liked the home-like atmosphere, and the beautiful setting. Most of all on my one and only visit prior to placing my mom there, I observed and spoke with many of the staff. They were engaged with the residents and seemed to really care for them. This has been the case after my mom moved in. They call you if there is a problem. They don't mind how many times you call to find out how your relative is. They were very encouraging and understanding to me also and helped me to get through a very, very difficult transition. I would recommend this facility and they probably deserve 5 stars but I will reserve that for future review when I know more

I liked the way that Foxbridge Assisted Living Community was set up for the individual person that was there. They seemed to have it organized where people who are alike as far as mental capacity were together. Then, they had a lot of activities and it was like a home; it was like a group home. My aunt was comfortable when we left her there. She was meeting people and getting relatively acclimated very well. The staff seemed to really care. Everyone we met knows all the residents, the residents know all the various staff members and all the staff members would call the residents by their names.

I would recommend Foxbridge Assisted Living Community because the staff was caring and good. And they were compassionate towards the residents. The rooms were also large and spacious.

When my father needed a higher level of care for complications of Alzheimer's disease we went to a facility near our home and asked if they could handle Alzheimer's victims. It was clear early on they were not prepared for the level of care he needed and we found Fox Acres (now Foxbridge). On the front end, Fox Acres techniques were harsh and uncaring: 1. Upon admission we could not see Daddy for 30 days. 2. We had to start calling him Jack not Daddy, Grandaddy, etc. 3. Taking him from the facility for lunch, home visits was discouraged. On the back end of the experience Fox Acres was 100% correct. 1. Getting Daddy familiar with his surroundings and establishing a bond with the staff and folks who lived in the other "cottages" was essential. That 30 days helped him to adjust to his new routine. 2. Calling him Jack was hard on the family, but it put him at ease and did not confuse him as to whom you were referring. 3. Routine, routine, routine was critical for Daddy to not become agitated. Against the advice of the staff we took him home one Christmas. It was awful. Seeing him so agitated and confused was heartbreaking. We went to Fox Acres from that point on for all family functions and everyone (other residents and staff) celebrated with us. There comes a time when you have to do what is best for the victim not yourself. Getting specialized care for your loved one is not "putting them away". Until another has walked in the shoes of an Alzheimer's caregiver they have no idea what it means, what it takes and the feeling of defeat that you have when you realize you cannot give the person you love so much what they need. Getting proper care for a victim of Alzheimer's is critical. I say victim because it is the deadliest most vicious disease I have ever experienced. God bless those who are on this journey in any capacity. My prayer is that should you get to the point that you need a higher level of care than you can provide, you find a Fox Acres for your loved one.
