I've already placed a down payment on a room at River Oaks Place Loudon. It was very nice. We were actually able to get into the facility because it wasn't closed down, and everyone was pleasant. We got to see the room and they showed us where my aunt would go for her food. It seemed like a nice facility. I talked to some of the people who were gathered for lunch, and they seemed to be having a good time. It's smaller than where she is, and so I'd say they'll see her more, but she's the type of person who's not gonna leave her room anyway, so it doesn't much matter. She is moving into assisted living and I'm currently going through the process of trying to get her eligible for Medicaid, because River Oaks Place Loudon is a place that she can stay for the rest of her days. The staff was lovely. It was the closest to us. It was one of the few we could get into. The room is much smaller, but it's a very nice facility. Everything's fine.

I really liked River Oaks Place - Loudon because their activities were great. The food was great. They had wine and cheese parties, and entertainment for every occasion. They also had a workout room. The place seemed very secure. The rooms were clean and well laid out. I know a couple who live there. They had adjoining rooms, and they had their little dog with them. The staff was very informative, very helpful, and answered all my questions. It's somewhere I would want to be when I'm 61. Thank you Caring.com for what you do and your services, because without people like you, some people can't find the care they need.

We chose River Oaks Place. Their staff is wonderful, very caring, and answers questions very well. They have all kinds of activities and field trips. The place feels very homey and is very beautiful. They serve three meals a day. For amenities, they have a pool and a library, which were really nice. It is a really good place to be. I would definitely recommend this place.

We placed my mother in River Oaks in Loudon. We just thought that it is a good match for my mother. She’s 91, and there are lots of mainly elderly folks like her there. It seems like a safe environment. It is clean and very well appointed with the amenities. It is a good price too. The facility is all well laid-out.

I was impressed with River Oaks Place – Loudon. My dad was there years ago, so I knew a little bit about it. It's an old hospital made into dementia care on top of a mountain, and the scenery was beautiful. On the third floor, they had a screened-in porch where the residents can go in and sit.

River Oaks Place provides our mother with wonderful care. Mom has Alzheimer's Disease and River Oaks has done a marvelous job of keeping her safe, cared-for and loved. She lives in a beautiful suite with her own private bath. All of her meals are served in a lovely dining area. There are daily activities that she loves to participate in. River Oaks also has a modern van that takes the residents on field trips to get ice cream or visit a local horse farm. Mom is treated like family and loves her fellow residents as her sisters and the River Oaks staff as her daughters. We are so happy to have found River Oaks.
