My mother had to call her own ambulance because she was in so much pain from bed sores. Once she got to the ER, they had said that she was the 3rd case this week from this facility for this exact same reason. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 pressure injuries,. This is a case of pure neglect for their patients. I would never recommend this poor excuse of a facility for your loved ones.

My father is at Wyndridge Health and Rehab Center. They take very good care of him. The rooms are very clean and very big. The food is very good, too. He doesn't go down to the activity room, but they come in there to try to interact with him. They have a rec room where they do movies and activities. The staff members are very caring and very professional. It is an older building, but it is very well maintained.

Wyndridge Health and Rehab Center was nice as can be. I was very impressed with it. I liked that they had birds in the lobby. They had a tree in there for the birds and it was fascinating to sit and watch. The dining room was big. The room we saw was really nice and it had a little sitting area and then the bed part. We could bring a small refrigerator and microwave if we wanted, which was nice.

I was searching for a nursing home through a senior directory website and WyndRidge was one of the three choices the person I talked to gave me. It was an older building and thus it has an older senior home concept. The place has a real nursing home atmosphere to it. I saw their rooms and they were unimpressive.

This is as true as can be. After Dusty had his stroke, he was in Wyndridge. He thought he was at his old home place and would tell everybody to come and spend the night! he he.He was pretty well out of his head, but when he started to get a little better, he ran away from there one night and the nursing home had to call the police (and me) to help find him. This was around 4:00 in the am. When they caught up with him, he told them he would go to jail, but he would not go back to that place so they couldn't take him back there. When I arrived, he was sitting in the back of the cop car and they told me he was hiding behind the headdstones at the cemetery which was abouut a mile from the nursing home and they said they couldnt believe he was 65 cause he could run faster than them (the cops). Needless to say, the nursing home didn't want him back. After that they started locking the doors in the evening. And believe it or not, this is the honest to God truth. But I will have to say, the care seemed better at that time than when Dad was there.
