Garden Plaza at Cleveland is excellent in just about every possible way. The staff members are absolutely wonderful, helpful, and nice. It's a beautiful place, all the way from patio homes to assisted living, in their central building. For apartments, they have studio apartments and 2-bedrooms, some with and without balconies. They also have two different kinds of patio homes, traditional, and open floor plans, and both of them are quite nice duplexes. They do all the cleaning and I talked to a number of people there and they're all happy about it. They have transportation and they'll take you anywhere you want to go and they have various activities. We were invited to make one of those elegant desserts and also to an ice cream social.

Garden Plaza was a top notch facility. I looked at their rooms, main building, and cottages, which were very nice but very expensive. They had bistros, a pool, and really great facilities. The location was very easy to get to. Everything was very convenient, and they had adequate parking.

When looking for a place for my mother I interviewed with I believe all the facilities within a 50 mile radius. I wanted an apartment for my mother that would extend assisted living privileges yet I/she really wanted it to be so that she would feel at home and not as if she was in a nursing home type environment. After checking the other places I interviewed Garden Plaza. I was amazed at everything they had to offer and how well everything was maintained. A dear friend of ours has lived there for around 5 years and no complaints from her. The apartment as well as the common areas were well maintained and there wasn't any odors at all. I have this thing about odors and so did my mother. She would walk in a place and if there were any odors she would walk out. The dining area is wonderful and serves even greater food. Being checked on in the apartment throughout the day is also a plus. Knowing my mom has her independence yet someone is popping in to say hi and see if you need anything means so much to me. It gives her someone to talk to on a regular basis even if it is just for a moment, and knowing they are actually dong regular checks on her means the world. they have a swimming pool that has an instructor who is also a resident. This means the residents aren't intimidated by a much younger person feeling like they are being pushed too hard. The apartment itself has a pull cord in the event mom needed emergency help. It has kitchen area that is actually pretty large for an apartment as well as the bedroom and bath. The staff will come in and make the beds and do the linens for her as well. They have regularly scheduled events for the residents to enjoy. There is a beauty shop on site which is great for those ladies who like to get their hair done once a week. There are so many great things they offer that anyone looking for an assisted living facility would want it's unreal. In my checking around Garden Plaza would get a 10/10 compared to the other facilities because the staff is wonderful and friendly, the facility itself is very well maintained, they have a lot to offer the residents and the price was actually lower in a few cases compared to other facilities. There was just something about Garden Plaza that says "you are Home".....I'm a "review reader" myself and question those that sound too good to be true. I would suggest stopping by and see for yourself, but make Garden Plaza that last one your tour because your gonna want to stay when you get there. I am only 52 but if I were able I would live there in a split second. I love it and so does my friend. Unfortunately mom passed before she got to experience Garden Plaza. I know she would have loved it and I also would have had a lot less worries about mom knowing she was in such great hands.... My good friend still lives there and has no plans on moving......

I visited Life Care directly without any appointments, and they are booked up for three years. They were very polite and nice. It’s a big facility -- very nice and clean. They’ve got a couple of different facilities, and the people were very nice. I saw people there, and they were very well, talking, loving, and enjoying each other. The staff was very kind, helpful, and understanding. The thing about my situation is that my mother has Lewy-body dementia and Parkinson’s, and they have doctors on call and nurses who they know what to do. I believe they also have full time care.

I liked that Garden Plaza had in-house rehab. The manager was very attentive. She seemed very nice. It was just further away from my sister who lived in Chattanooga. It was a smaller facility, but then again it was clean, and the staff was good. They seemed to be a good place. The location was fine, but it was just too far away from my sister so they couldn't easily visit my mom. It looked nice, it smelled nice, and I didn't see anybody being neglected. If it was closer, we could have considered it more.

The facility is extremely comfortable, well maintained and pleasing to the eye. My mother was a resident and the staff was so helpful in overseeing her day to day care. Esmerelda has gone above and beyond in assisting our family during a very difficult time. I cannot say enough good things about this facility and their staff. I highly recommend a visit if you are needing a retirement facility.

I had visited Garden Plaza. It was a never facility and closer to my doctors' offices. It had more amenities and activities for the people who lived there. It was less costly. The people were very nice and friendly. I had signed up with them and they had put me on their waiting list. I would recommend Garden Plaza to others.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Garden Plaza in Cleveland, Tn. Upon arrival I was immediately impressed with the decor and level of upkeep. The lobby is adjacent to a lovely dining room as well as a beautiful atrium. The Admissions Director was friendly without being overbearing or pushy. I also had the opportunity to meet with the Executive Director Esmerelda, and I thought that she was very nice and professional. Overall my visit was a good experience and I will be considering this home in the near future for my mother.
