We visited Holiday Uffelman Estates. We pretty much loved everything about it. The studio apartment was great. The lady, Amanda, that helped us, answered all of our questions. I loved that there weren't a ton of people there, but the actual place is a good size. It seems like they have everything that we need. They have games and a beauty salon, but it's not currently open because of COVID. They have an area where they can paint their own nails or each other's nails. They have a card room, a game room, they have darts, and they have a big area in the middle where people come in and play and sing. They have a nice open area for eating. They have outside games and plenty of room for mom to walk.
The one we looked at is a studio, which is open and had a small kitchenette inside and it was a good size for mom. It had two closets, a good size bathroom, and it had an outside patio-like deck. We were on the second floor. It's just a good location and we're excited. I hope we can find the funding to stay. She wants the Clarksville area and Uffelman seemed to be the cheapest price.

We've chosen Holiday Uffelman Estates for my mother and we're working with them right now. She will be moving in February 2023. The place was very clean and very adequate. The price was reasonable, and the staff was nice. They had a crafts room, a movie room, a pool table, exercise equipment, and a grand piano downstairs that on the weekends, they invite local people to come in and play for the residents. They also had walk-in bathtubs. They had laundry services and laundry rooms so they could independently do it themselves. They had an elevator that was well maintained. They had puzzles and books all along the hallways. They had a huge library there. It's everything that my mom needs.

I mostly visited my friend who lives there. Her room had a Wonderful and Very effective air conditioner. "What does it mean to be hot, (shrug) I don't know." She had a pretty sizeable room. Carpeted hallways. Good elevator. Very friendly staff. They answered a few questions I had. They don't mind if you have a pvt Wi-Fi installed (usually handled by Spectrum) they'll allow you to contract Att Uverse as well which offers a 25 mb service. I only saw one or 2 activities from the periphery. All participants looked as though they we're engaged and had fun. Can't say anything about the food service as I bought my own from Publix. They didn't say anything about bringing outside food. Spent almost a 1/2 day and it was a Very comfortable and enjoyable environment. Maybe the pricing might be a little steep I don't know. I assume they have a reason for everything. I think overall it'd be an Exceptional place to live if someone we're accepted and had the financial muscle. Food 3* only as a Neutral/No opinion rating.

I had an in-person tour of the Uffelman Estates. They showed me a couple of rooms, like a studio room and a regular one bedroom. It was a great tour. They had everything nice. The people were nice. I liked it all. As far as the way that my stepmom would be cared for and the facility, it was all nice. The staff was very professional. She knew what she was talking about. She was helpful in every way. She was great. They have a chef there to prepare their food. There was a refrigerator and a microwave. It was like a kitchenette, and it was nice. Every room has a little balcony on the outside, and then they have areas where they can go sit, talk, and maybe have a picnic or something like that. It was a great place.

Uffelman Estates was nice, clean, and well laid out. There's just a lot of walking involved, which was no big deal for me, but my friend just didn't do that. For me, I liked it a lot. I would live there myself. They were nice and it was a well-maintained place.
All the activities were curtailed at the time due to COVID, but they started it back up again now. So, they've got a lot of different activities, like bingo, singing, church services, outings, games inside and out, arts and crafts, movie nights, puzzles, ice cream socials, and just everything you can think of. They have a really good recreation team. They also had transportation to do medical appointments and whatnot.

I liked Uffelman Estates. It's just that they didn't have a kitchen and a washer and dryer in the apartment. It looked a bit older, but the upkeep was good. The staff was very informative, explained everything to me, and was very helpful. The dining area was very nice, spacious, and clean. They have a chapel, a community room, a little beauty parlor, and a mini-library.

I loved Uffelman Estates. I've been there numerous times. I think it's a wonderful place. It's an older place. It could probably use refreshing, but the hallways were very large. The rooms' layouts and sizes were nice. Someone told me they were refurbishing. I haven't been there since that may have started. It was two years ago when I was there. It looked very nice. I belong to a group for retired government employees, and they allowed us to have our Christmas dinners there for several years. They would show us the place. They had a beautiful dining room. I really liked it. It's in a good location. It just wasn't as close to me as I wanted, and I have to see my father almost every day about something. The food was good.

Uffelman Estates was a nice building. The staff was nice. The apartment sizes were nice. The staff members were very helpful and very polite. They answered all my questions. It seemed clean, and the furniture was updated, and it didn't look like it was old. The dining room was large. There was space between the tables so it wasn't cramped up. It felt like a restaurant. It was nice. They have a beauty salon, and they have like a little yard in the back where you can walk your dog.

I went to Uffelman Estates. It was a nice tour, but it's a little older place, and it was far away from where I live. I have to be somewhere close to my house. The staff was really friendly and really nice. She went out of her way to make sure we looked at all the different-sized rooms they had. I think they need to do a lot of work on the place. It needs a lot of improvements because there was a lot of furniture and stuff that was kind of run down. There are definitely some repairs that need to be done in some of the rooms, but overall, it was clean. There were a lot of people walking around. It was a good place, and the layout was pretty decent. You have the center like a common area, and everything kind of revolved around that, making it easier for people to go from the rooms to the common area. It looked like they had a lot of good options for them. They had a library, a computer section, and a TV section where they can sit around and watch movies together. The staff was great. Generally, the layout was good, but the biggest thing to me, and even to my wife, was the condition. They need to do a lot of work on the place, in my opinion.

We didn't like Uffelman Estates in Clarksville. The rooms were very small. We have 1900 sq ft here in our current place, but they had the same amenities. The lady that took us around was friendly. Their dining area was like a restaurant. We tried their food, but I can hardly judge just by eating one meal.

My father is in Uffelman Estates. Everything is excellent. It's clean, and the people are knowledgeable, courteous, and caring. The rooms are a good size and clean. They have music performers, games, and they play bingo.

My father is in Uffelman Estates. Everybody has been nice and friendly and they've done what they said they would do. He's in a studio, but they have a variety of rooms. They have games, exercises, entertainment that comes in, buses to appointments and shopping, a cafeteria, and a library. They get three meals a day. All the rooms have outside doors, which I really like.

I loved my visit at Uffelman Estates. The person who took me on the tour was amazing, and she took me around and showed me everything, introduced me to a lot of the people and showed me activities that they had going on. I even met some of the residents who were all just like, "Hey, welcome young man! Bring him up, he'll love it." They were doing trivia with the residents and I jumped right in, and they were inviting. They were also getting ready to have a big Mother's Day celebration when I was there, and they invited mothers and fellow members for breakfast/tea-time. I thought that it looked like something out of a fancy TV show. I was really impressed with it. The staff was just amazing. Wenever I passed somebody they would say hi, introduce themselves to me, tell me how long they've been there, and what they do. Everybody seemed like they really cared about bringing me and my mother into the fold. It just took me a while to find the place even though it's not too far from downtown, but it almost seems like it's hidden in the back of the woods.

Uffelman Estates was a very nice and upscale place. The staff was very friendly. The residents were very good natured and happy. My father-in-law and I enjoyed the place. They did a very good job.

We just moved our mother in and after being in and out several days I begin to notice how run down the building is..........
In my opinion I feel it is in bad need of an update. The carpet is awful and the walls need fresh paint. The furniture down the halls were awful looking. I feel these residents who are paying $$ deserve better surroundings!
There was also a smell down the hall and that could be solved by installing air machines through out the building.
Corporate office you should be ashamed of not investing in updates!!!

My tour at Uffelman Estates was extremely nice, warm, and welcoming. The staff was exceptionally knowledgeable and polite, and some of them and the manager live on site. The decoration and layout were exceptionally nice and warm. The dining room was not in a rectangular box with 2 doors for people to line up. There, it has very high ceilings and round dining tables with tablecloths, and it's very nice. It's very well-decorated, and some residents even put out decorations in the hallways. There's a large amount of room where people can sit and chat. It's open air for about 3 stories up, and the turret is surrounded with light. They have a small garden in the back where you can sit and tend to plants or plant vegetables. It has a very warm, friendly type of atmosphere. It's strictly independent living, but they have several agencies for assisted living to come in and give assistance.

I moved my mother and grandmother into Uffelman Estates 3 weeks ago. My grandmother is pretty independent, so she just needed meals made for her which Uffelman provided and some light housekeeping, so she's all set and super happy with getting that. My mother liked the look of the building, she felt comfortable wheeling around the common areas, and she liked the apartments. Then we set up for her to have additional care services so she could stay there instead of going into assisted living. My mother does chair yoga, poker walk, and Bingo, and they participate in the monthly raffle. My grandmother uses the weekly trips to Walmart, and she went to an Amish Country drive on the bus. They have 3 meals a day. My mother would use the bus services to drop her off to her appointment where I meet her there. There is a salon, an exercise bike, a pool table, a library which my grandmother uses, and a community movie room. Melissa -- the sales leader -- was very friendly and informative, she always got back to me with emails I send her, and she's always very responsive. The studio is perfect for my grandmother who just uses a walker, and the 1-bedroom is perfect for my mother who uses a scooter.

Uffelman Estates were really nice, and they have activities for seniors to do all day long. They provide meals for me. It’s a holiday community that I like because they have a program that when you rent an apartment from them, they have several different properties throughout the United States, and as long as I paid my rent here, I can go there and that would cost me nothing. I could stay in a little apartment there for free as long as I make my agreement.

Uffelman Estates was very nice. Some of the rooms that I saw were very well organized and well set up. I had lunch there, and the food was very good. They had a lot of different areas. They offer go-places and group participation like wheelchair baseball game. They provide transportation going to the doctors and shopping. The staff was wonderful.

My mom is in independent living. We’re very happy with it. It’s Uffelman Estates. My mom is happy there. She has been there for three years now. They have a very caring staff. I would highly recommend them. They make meals for the residents there, but they have their own apartment and they’re pretty much on their own. They have an activity director who does arts and crafts and games. They also take them on a field trip once a month. The apartment is perfect for Mom. She has a one-bedroom apartment. She is happy with it. They have all different sizes though. If you want an efficiency, you could have an efficiency, but we got her a one-bedroom.

I went to Uffelman Estates. It was a nice facility. They only have one elevator shaft, but in the center, there is a staircase coming down. It was a husband and wife that run it. The two of them were managing the place. There was a big shopping center nearby within walking distance of the place. There were several restaurants and stores in the area, so they were in a predominantly commercial area. They did have activities. They had a room there that if you want to have family over, you can have a meal or you can have activities in that separate room just for you and your family.

Uffelman Estates was very good. The only thing wrong with it was that the units were too small. Everything else was excellent. The staff was excellent.

I went to visit Uffelman Estates. It looked like a nursing home. People were in wheelchairs. It was just not a facility that I was looking for as I want a more active community than that. I saw their activities, and they were not what we wanted.

Uffelman Estates gave us a tour. They let me bring my husband, and we all came to lunch so we could experience dining with them, and I thought that was very nice. It was like you were in a restaurant and you had a menu to order from, and they had some good choices. They served like they were a number one or A-rated restaurant. They had people who served the dessert and different people who served the main meal. I was impressed with that because a lot of times when you are in a facility like that, one of the most important things is mealtime. So I thought that was a nice way to serve the meal; it made everyone feel like they were special. The rooms were very nice, had nice space; the living room and kitchen area was combined, but it was just right. It wasn't too much, and it was just right if you want visitors. The bedroom was a very nice-looking, modern bedroom with a separate bath and shower. I thought that was nice for the price. And, they had elevators, so they could accommodate people who were in wheelchairs. All the hallways were very large. It was very accessible. Then, they had an area for entertainment, to bring entertainment, and to have dances. I think she said they had dances once a month or once a week, something like that. What I liked about it was they are accommodating anyone and everyone who wants to go there, regardless of his difficult condition, as long as that person can afford to hire his own assistant or nurses or aides. So, once you get there, even though you may be healthy and in shape, you may over time become dependent on help or other people, but if you or your family can hire them, you can stay there; you don't have to leave. The food was good, and it looked clean. Everyone had on gloves and nets on their hair. Through the halls, we went upstairs, and everything looked clean. It was a very attractive place as well. It looked like it was being maintained pretty well.

The other one that we visited was Uffelman Estates. We just kind of drop in on them because I just talked to somebody on the phone we just decided to drive up there one afternoon and they welcomed us. They showed us around. It was very nice. Their front foyer was really impressive. We ate lunch there too and the people we ate lunch with were happy with that facility, which was a plus. However, it didn't have the facility for Alzheimer's and if you've got to where you needed more help, you would have to move. The idea was if we would move to in to one like that, it would be home for the rest of our lives.
I was pleased with them and they advertised that they had cottages, but when we checked them, there were only four and mostly full. So, it would be very difficult to get into a cottage there. They had mostly studio apartments or studio rooms.

I chose Uffelman Estates for my aunt because of the way the apartments were arranged and the choice of apartments it had. You could get a studio or a 1 or 2-bedroom apartment. All of the tubs therein are like walk-in tubs. There was new carpeting in the place where my aunt is going to move in. It also had a patio she could walk on. It was a bright place. There were 2 windows and a door to the patio.
I was comfortable at that place and I think my aunt will really be happy there. I also know some of the residents who said they enjoy being there. I ate lunch and went on a very nice tour. After lunch, the chef came into the meeting room and asked if my aunt had any special diet. The staff had a good attitude.
