I have actually visited several nursing homes throughout my life. Lifecare Center of Greeneville was the most recent I visited. I visited due to my grandmother being moved there, and ultimately dying there last year. The staff was always kind and patient while we were there. I did notice there weren't very many on staff at the time. It could have just been because I had come on a holiday weekend. My grandmother was still of sound mind, and could do many things on her own still so the amount of people staff wasn't a big deal in this case. My grandmother loved all of the activities they would have throughout the week, particularly the party they were going to have the night after I visited in celebration of the holiday. The location of the facility would at first seem a little questionable, as the government housing is behind the facility. However, there is a privacy fence up, and there is a good amount of fencing that gives an extra level of protection. All in all, it is a good facility, and a good choice for your loved one.

Life Care of Greeneville is a nice facility overall, however I noticed problems with the nursing staff here. The main issue was the lack of nurses to be honest, and then there were times that they would allow nursing students to come in to the facility to work. I have no problem with this practice at all, however to have students work alone with no supervision is an issue to me. It just seemed there were too many things going on which did not allow the staff to care for the residents properly. I also noticed problems in being able to have a nurse contact a doctor for any kind of medication needs or changes. It took a very long time to get things like that done.
