My grandmother was a resident there for several years and they did a great job with her care. Unfortunately, the entire experience was marred after her death. They demanded I pay for a full month of rent after her passing even though her lease term was up in the middle of that period. They threatened legal action and sent another nasty gram disguised in a Christmas card months later. I had all of the documentation reviewed by an attorney who agreed that we in no way needed to pay past the end of the lease term. She described their efforts as "gross".

I’m a relative of a current resident. My loved one has lived at Summit View for the past three and half years. The staff has been very helpful with her during her time there. The facility director has also been very helpful with any and all issues that have aroused during her stay. The nursing director and staff are very attentive to her needs. They have assisted her with in person and video conferencing doctor’s appointments during this time of Covid-19 which have been instrumental in maintain her health at this time. All of the staff has been courtesy whenever my family visits. And though my loved one doesn’t take part, they offer many activities, including monthly birthday celebrations.

The facility has a home type enviroment. My loved one lived at Summit View for many years. Staff were always willing to help in any way possible, House keeping was on point each week, the diatary staff went above and beyond providing extra food that my loved one preferred. In the end, the director of the facility helped me in so many ways with final arangments, who to contact, what to do, and I will always be greatful for that help during such a difficult time for me. My loved one was allowed to stay in his apartment during his process of leaving this earth as he wished to do so. Nursing was amazing and helped with decisions, oxygen, and any other need my loved one had at that time. At the end of it all, I can honestly say that Summit View will advocate for your loved one, they will help guide you when you are not sure exactly what to do, and they will treat you like family long after your loved one has left this earth. Thank you Summit View!

Why isn't it possible to give the place negative stars?! This place is creepy to say the least. The elevator isn't big enough for anyone with a wheelchair. It also looks as though it hasn't been cleaned any time in this century. It sounds like its unsafe as well. The floor in the rooms are slanted. The furniture looks like it will fall over at any second. The doors look like they were painted by a kindergartner. The doors also look as though they go to closets and not real rooms. There's no way a wheelchair bound person could go outside unassisted. The woman at the front desk was very antagonistic. She seemed more interested in her personal issues than anything else. She was loud on the phone when I was trying to talk to her. The person I know was locked in her room and I still don't understand that concept. You have to have a key to get in the rooms. Doesn't seem warm and friendly like they make it out to be at all!. I wouldn't want anyone I loved staying here.

Summit View has been the perfect home for my mother since her health prevented her from living alone. She has privacy in her apartment and a community of friends right outside her door when she wants companionship. Summit View looks and feels like home. The staff is very caring and professional. They take great measures to make sure the residents are safe, happy, and well cared for. Summit View doesn't have the "slick" hotel look of many senior communities, but they more than make up for it by the respect and loving care they offer their residents.

I am currently at Summit View. The food that we have here is very good. I have a one bedroom that's probably 20x20. We have many activities here, but I don’t take part in them. Each day, they have three or four activities that you can participate in. The staff has all been good even if the care is not good enough, but they are courteous and show me respect.

I have found Summit View for my aunt. It is convenient, and they have a caring staff. The apartment is very nice, and they have bingo, trips, entertainment, and movies. I will recommend this place to others.
