I toured Woodbridge Senior Living. It was the only place around here that had a Medicaid bed. I went there and spoke with the lady, and we had a meeting at her office. Just from looking down the hall and around, it looked nice. I saw the hallway, the outside, and the office area, and they were very nice. The had very friendly people. They had activities. I don't know exactly what kind of activities they do, but they told me that they have an activity coordinator. The place was clean and nice looking.

My cousin moved into Maranatha Manor. He likes it there and said he gets good care. They take good care of him, and it was less expensive. He’s happy there, and I’m happy with it so far. They take Medicaid. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s decent, they keep it clean, and there’s no odor to it. They just built a new facility for Alzheimer’s patients, and I think it’s a good place to go for the money. They offer card games, take them to Walmart twice a month, they just got a new director, and they take them out to eat three times a month. They’re doing more activities now, since they have a full-time director. They have church services and gospel groups come in to sing. Hopefully, he can stay there. They have good food, and my cousin really likes eating there.

My mom was here for a total of 6 weeks. She was attacked by residents (supposedly) three times, her teeth and glasses were taken and most of her clothing. They live in a small dumpy house with no room for activities all they do is watch TV. The front part looks beautiful but they hide the memory care in a gated dump. I will never get over the guilt of choosing this place for my mom. We moved her out! This place needs to be closed down!

The memory care unit is an unclean, unkept mess. The residents look miserable. They kept sending? my mom to the hospital because they can. She went three times in 2 weeks. The hospital could not understand why I will not recommend this place for your love one.

Maranatha Manor has a very clean environment. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are varied from private to semi-private. It was very roomy, and spacious. They have 3 meals a day, and snacks in between.

My dad and stepmom really are happy at Maranatha Manor. The people seemed to be very caring, and they are good. Sometimes we wish callbacks a little bit more from the office, but when we go visit, they seem happy, and the people that actually care for them in that building are very sweet, but I wish there were more activities. We have eaten there a couple of times, and my husband said the food was good.

I had an unsupervised visited at Maranatha Manor. It was OK. They had a cafeteria, and it was nice. They had typical activities, but I came at the time when there weren't a lot of activities going on. It seemed to be clean, and I just talked to one lady. I was satisfied and overly impressed by it.
