The staff at Anderson Oaks Assisted Living seemed very professional, friendly, and supportive. The rooms were adequate, they were a relatively nice size. What I liked about the building itself was that it was a little bit brighter and airy looking than the other place we saw. We met the activities director and she seemed good as far as wanting to engage everybody and keep them busy and having fun. The staff, Justin was great. He answered all of our questions, gave us some additional information on where we might be able to get help, and just gave us an overall tour of the building. It seems good. We saw some of the activities, there was bingo going on and some folks were watching TV in a social environment. They had people out, it was a nice sunny afternoon and they had people outside to get some fresh air. Justin told us that they have a lot more men there that are veterans and they don't necessarily want to do the same thing that women do, like arts and crafts type stuff. So they'll take them out to lunch or dinner and some other type of outing that a lot of guys would enjoy.

Anderson Oaks was clean and well laid out. The staff is very helpful. Everything was great and we love the place. My dad is in their assisted living. The dining area is really nice, and the food is good and seems to be okay. His room is beautiful and great, with a private bathroom. He has a roommate but there's plenty of room for both of them. They both have a bed and a wardrobe, so it's nice. They take them out to outings, church, dinners, Walmart, and they have Bingo, movies, arts and crafts, and people coming in to play music. It's a really nice setup for people who want to take part in that.

Anderson Oaks Assisted Living was very nice. The staff that we met was very polite and very forthcoming. The rooms were decent sized and adequate. They had a library, walks outback, cards, different kinds of games, and they take them out periodically.

My mother is at the assisted living level of Anderson Oaks. It's a very nice place. They take care of the seniors, they all seem to have fun, my mom has made friends, and is doing great. They have activities like sing-alongs, ice cream socials, they play card games, and stuff like that. It's an active community. The staff members that I met have been very nice, helpful, and cordial. The place itself is very nice and well-kept, and they offer free meals. Her room is nice and clean with a bed, a dresser, and a nice view out of the window.

Once I found out that Anderson Oaks didn’t have memory care, I didn’t tour the place. It was clean, the parking lot was nice and clean, and the building itself was nice and clean. There were a lot of residents sitting outdoors. The facility is a little close to the highway, and they don’t lock their doors, so they have free access to go in and out. You have to be careful if you are going to put somebody who tends to wander at this facility because they are so close to a busy highway. It seemed like the residents were all happy, so it seemed pretty good to me. But, like I said, I didn’t go around because once the staff member said that they keep the doors unlocked and free access, my husband could not do it because he would be on the road.

Anderson Oaks was a nice place. It was a top-shelf facility. I was impressed with the place. It was out in the woods and away from everything.

The staff that showed us around was helpful and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and the dining room was clean. They have three different unit sizes: semi-private, private, and then a larger private. What I like best is the fact that they are not for profit; they re-invest any profits back in the form of credits to their residents. They have a full schedule of activities. From what I have seen I would recommend the place, and I have decided that’s where I want to put my mother.

The staff at Anderson Oaks Assisted Living was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were good and adequate. They showed us different sizes and they were nice. I tried their food and it tasted fine. At that time, the residents were very busy doing their own stuff and I heard that they had a lot of activities there.

The staff at Anderson Oaks was very nice and pleasant. They gave me a nice tour and I enjoyed it. The rooms were okay. They were small, but they were nice. The dining room was nice. They had activities, but I didn’t actually saw what they were doing at that time. The residents were very nice and they looked happy. However, the price seemed too high.

My mother moved into Anderson Oaks from another local facility in mid November of this year and passed away passed away on December 8th. Although her time there was very short she was treated as a part of their family from day one. Her care and concerns were a priority and she was always treated with dignity. I am very grateful that her last days were spent at Anderson Oaks, I could not have asked for a more caring and more professional staff for my mother and for my family. Each and every one of them will remain in my heart for the love they showered on my mother.

My mother has been at Anderson Oaks for almost 2 and a half years. My mother was at another local assisted living prior to. Anderson Oaks is amazing, they go above and beyond. My mother is so happy, they treat her like a member of their own family. The costs are lower than the area and the care is much higher than even I expected. send your family member to Anderson Oaks with the confidence they will be truly cared for, loved and in turn you will be happy too.
