About This Community
Ashlan Village offers one and two bedroom town homes for independent living. The assisted living facility contains two room suites, companion and private rooms. It also includes a secured Alzheimer's Care community. We offer twice weekly Mystery Rides ranging from the mountains to the Piedmont and adventurous ones from Gatlinburg to Charleston. We make sure we “get outta Dodge” as often as possible and see the sights. Our traveling choir and robust array of in house entertainment spice up each day. Powell Lake out our back door, duck graced and beautiful, accentuates the pastoral setting. Life is important. Handle it with variety, fresh ideas, and love…pretty soon it feels like home.

I'm very excited about moving into Ashlan Village. I'm waiting until I can purchase an independent living house there. It's wonderful. They also have assisted living and an Alzheimer's unit. I think I will be very happy there. It's close to Greer which is an up and coming place with a lot of restaurants and every type of business in the world. Everyone I've met was really good and the person in-charge there came down from up north. The people were very nice. The rooms in the assisted living facility were very nice. I am purchasing an independent living house and it's a two-bedroom two-bath. The monthly fee is right for living there. They go on daily trips or sometimes overnight trips, plus they have cards, movies, and bingo.

Everybody seemed to be satisfied at Ashlan Village. The staff was extremely helpful and cordial. It's beautiful out there. There's a beautiful sitting room where families can visit privately. It's well-furnished and looked beautiful on the inside.

Ashlan Village was a small Christian community which was a benefit for us. We found the price of the housing to be very reasonable. We wanted them to build us a new home and they were very accommodating. The staff seemed to be warm and welcoming. It was an older building and the dining area was very basic. When you're in one of their independent living homes, you get one meal per day. There was a nice little pond at the back. I think we'll fit in quite well in that place. We were very impressed with the quality of the homes that were built there.
