Watercrest Columbia is absolutely beautiful. I met the nurse; I didn't talk to her a whole lot. Holly is the one that took us on the tour, and she was very nice. I am going back on Saturday with Mom. The rooms are nice. It's new, though. The place is more upgraded as far as with newer technology. It's amazing, there's art everywhere you look. I thought the place would be outrageous in price. They are $1,000 less a month than the other place right now. They did go up, but they only went up 3% this month, not eight. Price-wise, they are really good. They got great pricing for their assisted living. They also have great pricing on their care. They are $100 less on their care packages. They are very impressive. I didn't eat, but I will go back Saturday evening. They have everything. They have a pool, and an absolutely gorgeous courtyard. They have got a beautician that's there every day of the week, not somebody who just comes in on Tuesdays, and they have pedicures. They have a place for kids to play if you've got small kids that come visit you. They've got a bar and a beautiful dining room with a fireplace. This place is out of this world. They have a waterfall in the lobby that drops three floors. They have a bunch of different floor plans. They have studios, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms. They got different floor plans for the two bedrooms, and they have three different floor plans for a one-bedroom apartment. They were voted the best-assisted living community last year.

My mother-in-law is in the assisted living of Watercrest Columbia. It's a new building so it's very up-to-date and very nice. Her room is also the same. The staff is very caring and attentive to her needs. She doesn't usually join in the activities. There's a beauty salon, they have a nail place, and then there's a pool. I'm visiting her in her room. Their chef prepares the meals and they're very good meals.
