Overall this places is no good. Care is horrible, cleaning is nonexistent and therapy is a joke.

My mother was sent there for "approximately 2 weeks" for physical therapy. It turned into 4 weeks of suffering. The evening and weekend staff are lazy, often leaving elderly staff alone for extended periods of time. My mother suffered because Dr Lord refused her fluids, changes in pain medication or the proper care required. My mother repeatedly was told by a male staff member she didn't need the restroom "because it is just gas"! My mother was left alone twice on the toilet and allowed to fall and bash her head in, then was not given proper medical follow-up or MRI, despite her being on strong blood thinners. I would never recommend this facility for my family member. They're more iinterested in the bottom line than taking care of patients. Run to another facility, particularly if your loved one requires a lot of hands on attention.

I was impressed with the two places I visited, but I'm leaning toward Columbia Presbyterian Community. It was a beautiful facility and seemed to offer more amenities. I was really pleased with the grounds and the facility. I ate lunch there, and the food was delicious. I had a very good meeting with their marketing director. That visit was very pleasant. They had progressive care, so if I became more disabled, they could handle that. By being large, it gives them the opportunity to afford more amenities.

I visited Columbia Presbyterian Community. Everything was great. The cleanliness of the facility was outstanding. Everything about it was pleasant. I spoke to some of the people who liked it. The apartment had a sitting room, one bedroom, and a little kitchenette, which was all I needed. It was of sufficient size. They had an exercise room and all that standard stuff.

I visited Columbia Presbyterian Community. It was a good visit, but I figured out this would not be a suitable place for my mother because she won't be able to get up the stairs. They have a nice, clean, common dining area with a breakfast bar. Overall, it's a nice place.

Presbyterian was clean and very nice. But it was more of a hotel setting, and it only had one room instead of an apartment. My mom didn't care for that. But the facility was nice and clean, very luxurious, and the staff was fine. The food was fine, too. There's nothing particularly good or bad about it.
