The lady that I met with at Summit Place & Summit Court was April, and she was very informative and very patient to listen to what I thought my needs were going to be and very helpful as far as helping me kind of see what stage of dementia my father's in. The staff was extremely helpful. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the layout of the place. They had a barber shop, they have three meals a day, which was more than some that I talked to on the phone, and they have church services.

The facility was very clean. Everyone was friendly, staff and residents!!! The outside grounds look nice. The dining room looked amazing as we visited. The residents were doing book club as we visited as well.

We toured Summit Place of Anderson. It was good and very informative. Everything was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and very informative, and that was part of what made it good.
It seems to have everything our parents were looking for. They weren't looking to be taken care of, there's that possibility because they were looking for meal help. Other than that, they're very independent.
They had the cottages and that was what we were interested in. That's where the independent living is and they were nice and they were up to date.
For the independent folks, it's close to everything. There are grocery stores and everything. I know they have tours, and they had more stuff before Covid. After Covid, they'll have more because they'll have field trips and stuff like that.

We toured Summit Place, and looked at some independent cottages, but they're not flexible enough to allow us to use their full kitchen. It was quite clean and very well-maintained. There were numerous items in their activity sheet. Their housekeeping was adequate, they offer garages for the independent living bungalows, and they have a meeting room with televisions and space for chatting.

Summit Court is very satisfactory. I think everybody there is treated with great respect and kindness. I will surely recommend it. The food is OK. They have a little circular patio in the middle, and there are 16 cottages. They have birthday parties once a month for the residents, and occasionally, they will invite the families in for a nice little affair. They have bingo, word games, and exercises. They also take people out for shopping. I think it is good, and I feel the price is excellent. The building is nice and new.
