About This Community

Pinedale Residential Center provides four levels of care for our residents depending on their needs. Independent Care: For the Senior Adult who desires the ease of living in the safety and companioship of a care facility. Care with Assistance: For the Senior Adult who needs 24 hour access to care in one or more ADLS including bathing, dressing, diet, medications and safety. Care of Dementia: For the Senior Adult whose behavior needs monitoring and redirecting or who suffers from short term memory loss and/or short attention span. This level of care is designed for those who may need assistance with many but not all ADLS. Respite Care: Available to those Senior Adults who need temporary care from a weekend to a month. Respite Care offers a temporary stay to recover from an illness or hospital stay or relief for the family member acting as a caregiver.

We chose Pinedale Residential Center for my mom. She has a lot of friends there. It was clean. It didn't have a smell. People were walking around, and they were playing games. It seemed like a good place. The owner toured me around. He knew everything about the place. He's caring. They don't have a lot of amenities, but they take them places. You can tell that they have done some painting and stuff just recently.

My mother was in Pinedale Residential Center for just a few months. If it hadn't been for the quarantine and isolation, I think she would've done just fine. However, she didn't understand the need to be kept in her room and the restrictions that were placed on the residents there, so that was very negative. It had nothing to do with the facility, it was just the restrictions. The staff was excellent. According to my mother, she did not enjoy the meals there. Because of the virus, they could not be in large groups. They had some activities available, but they just weren't what they normally would be because of the restrictions.
