Summit place assisted living is the best facility in the upstate. They have a staff that is so dedicated to the wellness and joy of the residents as well as there families. They team of directors are very friendly and care deeply about the residents and their families. The team of caregivers provide such amazing care of the residents. They take their time with them and assist them with anything they need. The caregiving staff also stays very connected with the families and keeps them informed of anything. Summit Place Assisted Living is the best facility to place your loved one in. It becomes their comfortable home, and provides them with lots of new friendly neighbors and keeps them very busy with a variety of entertainment. The warm welcoming and forever love and care Summit Place provides is unforgettable!

We had been to the Summit Place of Anderson. I liked the staff, I liked the size of the rooms, and I liked everything about it. I liked their programs because they have everything that I knew my mom would like. They have different activities like crafts, Bible studies, and different things that you could choose from. They were in the process of contracting a rehab company and getting that room set up. There are also community spaces with couches. Their rooms were very spacious and very neat, and if we were gong with the assisted living facility, that place would have been the one we chose. It appeared to be very clean, there were a couple of places on the carpet that were just normal wear and tear.

I visited Summit Place of Anderson. There was nothing I didn't like about it; it was nice. The tour was thorough. The personnel was very nice. I was there for two hours, so I really can't say anything negative about it. The personnel had a good rapport with the patients that they saw out in the hallways and so forth. It was very well kept. The entranceway was modern, and then the rest of it looked like it might be 15 years old; I think it was still working perfectly. It was perfectly nice. They had a beauty salon, a cafeteria, and they had activities for seniors.

April was the one who toured us at Summit Place of Anderson and she was so knowledgeable. She helped me understand a lot of things and answered a lot of questions for me that I didn't know the answers to. She took us around and showed us the different rooms, but I knew right away that my mother wouldn't want a companion in a room with a bathroom between the two, because that would be too far for her to go around or get out, while the other room we checked out was too big. So, it just would not have suited her, but April was really good as far as her knowledge of things. The dining room was also nice. It's just that she would have to walk farther to get there too. Then they have a lot of activities that they do all the time. They have an activity room where they do painting and putting things together and a bus to go on trips and stuff like that. When you first walked in, there's a fountain with stones around it and flowers. It's really pretty. They also have this mini sitting room when you go down the hall and where you find a couple of chairs for people who wanted to just sit there and not be around a whole bunch of people. So, that was nice. They have everything you need and it's a very clean place.

They have been especially helpful in setting up FaceTime with my sister, even when she was moved to another facility, briefly. Thank you, Nicole!

I love Summit Place of Anderson. It's beautiful, and they go out of their way. The lady is religious, and she actually prays with you; I really like her. It's just not in my father's price range. It's clean, and the room is much bigger than where he is at, and they don't share a bathroom. They have a little kitchen in the room, a microwave, and it's big enough for me to put his lift chair. They have bingo. The food looked really good. It has a good atmosphere.

I liked Summit Place of Anderson very much, except that they only had a 1-bedroom left and I wanted a 2-bedroom apartment. It had a screened-in porch, it was at the end of the building, it was very private and I liked it very much but it was too small for me and my husband. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating, and very informative. They would serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They would provide housekeeping once a week and they even have a lifeline included.

I liked Summit Place of Anderson, but I don’t know if my mother would. They were helpful, but it was out of the way and not convenient to where I live. The staff seemed very nice, and the apartments, as far as size, seemed comparable with the other places that I looked at. The dining room seemed to be set up very nicely. I saw several of the residents who seemed happy, and several were sitting outside enjoying the weather, which was nice. It seemed like an institutional facility as opposed to having a home feeling. Something about the place, however, won't work for my mom.

Summit Place was clean. My parents stayed there for a brief time. The staff seemed to know what they were doing, but there were no activities for the residents. The food seemed pretty bland.

My husband was a resident of Summit Place of Anderson a little over a year ago. I was very happy with the care he received. He was in the memory care unit until he passed. My daughter and I would stop in at all times of the day or night. The staff that took care of him were wonderful to him and to us. As it happens when you have employees not every one has a residents well being high on there agenda. But at Summit Place of Anderson if I had any issue it was addressed and taken care of immediately. Most of the workers are wonderful caring people. The night my husband passed several that were on duty that night cried with us.

I visited Summit. The staff was nice and showed me around. The room was adequate. The common dining area was OK. However, it was too far for me to drive.

My husband is in the Summit Place. He seems to be well cared for. I think the accommodation is comfortable for him. He has a nice bed, a nice chair, and a private room. So, it is very comfortable for him. He is happy, and that’s what counts. I think that he participates in some of the singing.

I really liked the look of Summit Place. We heard negative reviews from a couple of friends, but the people were very nice and very accommodating. The rooms were beautiful. They had a calendar of activities, which seemed pretty varied.

The staff was very friendly and helpful during my visit at Summit Place. It's a beautiful place, and it?s like a home. I like that they have everything I needed, but just very far from where I live.

Summit Place of Anderson was very pleasant and clean, and we've had a better look at it lately because we visited our neighbors who moved there. The rooms were quite adequate. The staff were very qualified and were able to answer your questions. The monthly calendar that's up on the wall has everything. They have movie afternoons and parties.

Summit Place is literally across the street from where I live. It was very nice, but I didn't like the entrance way. The nurse was OK, but I didn't really warm up to her. She sort of rubbed me the wrong way. Their facility was nice. With regards to activities, they had baby dolls. They had the common eating area. Their layout was kind of a nautical-type theme in the memory care. The room that I saw was not any larger than the one in the other facility I saw.

This is an Assisted Living/Alzheimer's Care Facility. I could not find any reviews on it, but checked out the other facilities in the area that had reviews and decided that this was the best facility for my mother. I researched everything. My mother started in the Alzheimer's area after having been released from the hospital and the nursing home from a bought with a UTI and bowel impaction. We then moved her about a 1 1/2 months ago to Summit Place and she has been given excellent care. After she was in the Alzheimer's area, she started to get a little better so they told us they thought she would do better in the Assisted Living, so we moved her, and she is very happy there. She is social and active, although her Lewy Body Dementia flares up quite a bit. We appreciate the love and caring they give her there. The facility is clean, updated, and very nice. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
